2.5 days, 2 cities, and a packed schedule—but it was worth it. Back in April, I toured Bellevue, WA, where we’ll host the 2025 NAPSA Conference at the Hyatt Regency Bellevue. It was all about connecting with partners, understanding their needs, and planning what matters most for our attendees. Here’s what stood out: 🚶♀️ Walkability: The Bellevue Collection offers dining, shopping, and entertainment just steps away from the venue. 🚆 Transportation: With the Bellhop service and the upcoming light rail to Seattle, getting around will be seamless for attendees. Plus, the light rail gives attendees a chance to explore Seattle while they’re in town. 🐳 Unique experiences: From scenic trails to nearby whale-watching tours, Bellevue brings something fresh for everyone. The next stop on my tour was Spokane—a beautiful city that, while not selected for the 2025 Conference, could be the perfect fit for a future NAPSA retreat. I’m excited to show you why soon! We always prioritize safety, inclusivity, and creating a new and valuable experience each year. Bellevue checks all the right boxes for 2025. What makes a destination stand out for you when planning (or attending) a conference? I’d love to hear your thoughts. #EventPlanning #ConferenceStrategy #BellevueWA #Leadership #InclusiveEvents

The U.S. Open gave New York’s events scene a major lift in August, helping the city see a 30% jump in event volume compared to last year, according to Knowland. While Las Vegas led the charge with a 36% increase, New York ranked second among the top 25 U.S. markets, thanks to a surge in sports tourism and sectors like travel, tech, and finance. It’s the first time since April that NYC cracked the top five growth markets. As major events draw in more visitors, the real opportunity for cities like NYC is to turn these short-term surges into lasting growth by investing in infrastructure and experiences that keep people coming back year-round. #USOpen #SportsTourism #BusinessBoom

🌿 The Perfect Venue: What I Look for When Venue-Finding for Clients 🌿 Yesterday, I attended a workshop at Bowcliffe Hall Estate - a venue I know well, and it reminded me exactly what I prioritise when sourcing spaces for my clients. While I was there as an attendee, my venue-finding hat never truly comes off. The right setting can elevate the entire experience, and here’s why Bowcliffe Hall ticked every box: 1. First Impressions Matter: From the moment I arrived, the experience was positive. Ample parking, including electric car charging stations, and a welcoming atmosphere created by the venue’s staff— the gardeners took the time to offer a friendly "good morning" with a smile. These small touches make a big difference. 2. Setting and Ambience: As I walked to the building, the autumnal colours and beautifully maintained grounds were a breath of fresh air. Inside, floor-to-ceiling windows showcased views of horses galloping in the fields and red kites soaring above. A venue’s setting can dramatically influence the mood of the event. Here, the peaceful, stunning backdrop created a relaxed, focused environment—ideal for a productive day. 3. Practicality Meets Elegance: It’s not just about beauty; a great venue must function seamlessly. Bowcliffe Hall offered flawless service, from catering to amenities, ensuring everything ran smoothly. Whether it's a workshop, corporate meeting, or event, these details can make or break the day. 4. A Recharge Oasis: This venue doesn’t just meet needs—it provides a space to recharge, which is especially important during busy times of year. It allowed me and my colleagues to refocus and engage fully with the content of the day. When finding a venue for clients, my focus is always on these key factors—first impressions, setting, functionality, and how a space contributes to the overall experience. What are the must-haves for you when choosing a venue for an important event? I'd love to hear what others consider non-negotiable for creating an impactful experience. #VenueFinding #EventPlanning #MeetingSuccess #CorporateEvents #ClientExperience Sneaky Experience Events

The Importance of Inclusivity in Event Planning🍹✨ Yesterday, I attended a dress rehearsal for an upcoming event and was thrilled to see that the event manager had included a mocktail option as part of the signature drink menu! 🎊 This may seem like a small detail, but it speaks volumes about thoughtful event design. We know that events bring together people from all walks of life, and providing diverse options—especially when it comes to beverages—creates an environment where everyone feels comfortable, included, and celebrated. As event pros, it's essential that we think beyond the standard offerings. By including non-alcoholic choices like mocktails, we're: ✨Respecting personal preferences and health needs, ✨Supporting those who may not drink for cultural or personal reasons, and ✨Creating a welcoming space for every attendee. Cheers 🥂 to more inclusive and thoughtful event planning! Let's keep ensuring our events are spaces where everyone can raise a glass—whether it's filled with a cocktail or a mocktail! 📸 Dinner with Friends, Nashville, TN 🍹 The Hawaiian Fresh Juice MockTail #EventPlanning #InclusiveEvents #Mocktails #DiversityInEvents #EventDesign
