The Law of Influence I read a wonderful book a few months ago which has changed the way I work, live and feel about almost everything. In the book there are “The Five Laws of Stratospheric Success”. No 3 Law is: ✨ Your Influence is determined by how abundantly you place other people’s interests first ✨ I try to put this into practice every day (this is a work in progress with varying levels of success!). And here is what I have found. 🌟 I have started to listen more. Really listen. The “what about me” can get in the way. But if you take your ego out of the equation you can understand so much more about what is being said. 🌟 When you listen more, your relationships are deeper. I have had so many deep and meaningful conversations of late.. they have fostered much stronger connections with people. This is both personally and professionally. 🌟 It builds huge trust. It is amazing how powerful it is for someone to feel their needs are more important than your own. It is a bond that will last. 🌟 What comes back to you is better than you can imagine. Mutual respect, friendship, and for me a lasting feeling I am doing the right thing. And more than anything, it just feels so much better to let go of what you need and give that to someone who needs it. This has worked for me in client relations and friendships. It’s also helping to build my professional, close network too.
