Six Months of Positive Change with KLTR’s OPTS 🌟 As we pass the six months mark since the launch of The King’s and Lord Treasurer’s Remembrancer (KLTR) Ownerless Property Transfer Scheme (OPTS), we’re proud to reflect on the impact this initiative has had on communities across Scotland. Anderson Strathern is honoured to have supported the first successful case under OPTS, highlighting our dedication to community-driven projects. What is OPTS? 🤔 The OPTS aims to transform ownerless properties into valuable community assets by transferring them to community groups and public bodies at nominal prices. This initiative encourages collaboration among community members, local authorities, and other stakeholders to repurpose neglected properties for the greater good. Success Stories 🌟 In the past six months, we’ve seen inspiring transformations. The Former Royal Hotel in Slamannan is set to become a community picnic area, and a strip of land in Edinburgh will provide access for affordable housing. These projects demonstrate the power of community collaboration and the positive changes that can result. Looking Ahead 🚀 With more projects underway, we’re excited to continue supporting the KLTR’s initiative helping communities in revitalising spaces and fostering development. The OPTS is a testament to what can be achieved when we work together for a common cause. Liverpool City Council Partners with TyreSafe

Major win for WA sporting and recreation facilities! Community sporting and recreation facilities in WA are about to get major upgrades thanks to over $20 million being allocated to 24 projects through DLGSC's Community Sporting and Recreation Facilities Fund (CSRFF). This Government of Western Australia funding will support clubs and local governments in making improvements such as new changerooms and enhancing facilities for sports. Here's the breakdown: 💠13 projects in metropolitan Perth: $13.2 million 💠11 projects in regional Western Australia: $7.6 million. The Club Night Lights Program (CNLP) is also shining bright with over $3.4 million allocated to 11 projects: 💠8 projects in metropolitan Perth: $2,524,543 💠3 projects in regional Western Australia: $876,148.
