Case management isn't just a system — it's a game-changer for families. Case management is about working together to assess, plan, and advocate for resources that ensure dads and families have what they need to thrive. April is #ChildAbusePreventionMonth. #ChildAbuse can be any non-accidental action that results in physical impairment of the child. Every year, 1 million children are abused and an average of 4-7 children die every day. Often, those who have already been in medical treatment die as a result of abuse. A big problem is the late detection. Standardized Screenings are not uniformly completed, and many people do not recognize the signs of mistreatment. Those signs may be visible, such as bruises or wounds, but they can also be seen in behavior, such as aggression or fear of one's parents. Therefore, it is essential that we perceive our surroundings with open eyes and thus be able to help people. No child should ever experience terror or fear.
