We are honoring today our veterans at ICL and the special event in partnership with Home for Veterans and Blackstone Charity Foundation. They are here supporting our veterans, providing them care packages and food, being able to come together as a community and I'm so proud to be here. 15 Evan St. our supportive housing residents at ICL in Brooklyn to honor and celebrate our veterans. And I'm glad we were able to be here and be of support and celebrate and honor them this day. You know, big for them is not really the meals or the gifts. So the handouts is really the fact that they feel appreciated for the service that they did for our country. You know, it's always good to see when we can work with them, empower them and get them out into their own houses within the community. So thank you to the veterans and for what you do for us. Supporting our veterans, particularly those that are sort of on their back foot right now, you know, it is very meaningful to me and the other volunteers that are here today. I think it's wonderful. I think the whole thing is wonderful. The facility wise, I live. I think it's wonderful because it provides the school with the home. It's not much, but it's better than living in the street. I'm a veteran of 6 1/2 years, Air Force Strategic Air Command. I'm I'm a veteran, U.S. Army, 82nd Airborne all the way. My father was a veteran who served in the Korean War. I'm a veteran myself, Marine Corps veteran. Being in the military and then coming out for all of us who had to ETS. Or out of the service. It's definitely not easy. So it's a it's a great event. Actually, the first one that I have been a part of is definitely something I look forward to continue doing. We still are one of the only countries that have a democracy to today. And you got that because of not even us veterans in the room, but the guys that came before us, the brothers that came before us and fought for this land and fought for that, right. And we can't even be promised any housing when we get back. So, you know, this stuff is sad, you know, so when we got people like you guys that are willing to lend a hand, willing to show that. Care, you know, we feel it. You know, we may not always tell you guys, but we feel it. It goes a long way. We need these things because we don't have much. We're between homes. Some of us are living in the street and we need some place to call home. Thank you for treating us with respect. And unfortunately, my dad passed away. So I asked the board and my mom's on the board if I can continue on his mission, if I can keep doing this. So that's my personal mission is to carry on his legacy and to do this in his name. So all of this I always do with my dad's, you know. Finishing up in my heart, you all make that possible to carry on his legacy. And I know the reason why I'm able to meet you all today is because of him. Now we've done projects in 19 states. I wanna keep expanding that and doing more. And that's all for the veterans and for my dad.

Thank you so much to the very generous people at the King Cullimore Charitable Trust who just awarded us a grant of £25,000. The grant will go towards our physio service, helping to improve the physical health and quality of life of our members, empowering them to live life to the full.

I am excited to announce our first non-profit partnership with Battle Brands. Battle Brands is a Service-Disabled, Veteran-Owned, Non-Profit Small Business dedicated to giving back, doing things the right way, and delivering on everything that we do.
