On September 30th of this year Makatew Workshops hosted a ceremony honouring the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation where they received so much interest the ceremony was relocated from their property to the Diefenbunker (Canada’s Cold War Museum) providing much needed space for attendees to enjoy speeches, dancing and a sacred fire.
