In the workplace landscape, accidents are very expensive. They not only cost human lives but also lead to significant financial burdens for factories. This includes workers' compensation claims, medical expenses, legal fees, and lost productivity. According to the National Safety Council, the injury cost in 2022 was $167.0 billion. According to the repost- Per worker cost is $1,040 Per death cost is $1,390,000, and Per medically consulted injury cost is $40,000. These sudden accidents and injuries are costing your factories too resulting in losing your efficient workers and increasing costs. But you can minimize it to zero by prioritizing and enhancing workers’ safety. You have to make sure that no one gets injured or very few workers get injured. Prioritize cutting-edge protective equipment (PPE) to ensure a secure work environment. Bring latest innovation in PPE to ensure safety like- ✔ Smart Helmets, ✔ Exoskeletons, ✔ Cut-Resistant Gloves, ✔ Advanced Respirators, and ✔ Connected Safety Vests. ❄️❄️WINTER WEATHER IS HERE❄️❄️ With winter quickly approaching its important to be prepared and take preventative actions in the workplace. In 2022, there were 865 workers were killed due to falls and 144 of those were on the same level, with thousands more injured and with the winter weather here that adds a new complexity. Snow and ice on sidewalks, walkways and platforms can make traversing the workplace incredibly risky. Always be cognizant of the hazard, proactively clean and manage the work area to prevent snow and ice build up, use sand and salt to help when possible. Always use hand rails if available. Footwear is also important during the winter and make sure you have good traction, much like a car your feet need as much grip as they can get to stay verticle. Also consider added cleats for traction. Remember, stay safe, stay warm and let’s all go home a little tired and maybe a little hungry. https://lnkd.in/g-YvKK3B
