The NHTI Business Innovation’s Post

🚀 Exciting Developments with the CAPS Program at Middleton High School! 🚀 Recently the NHTI met with The Center for Advanced Professional Studies (CAPS) who is doing incredible work across our region, coordinating job and internship opportunities for high school students in high-demand fields like medical, engineering, and software development. CAPS not only connects students with meaningful work but also empowers them to explore career paths early on. Two Key CAPS Initiatives: 1. Micro-Internships: Short-term, structured programs that give students hands-on entrepreneurial experiences. 2. Longer-Term Internships: Programs that are still in development, aimed at deeper professional exposure. There is exciting potential for CAPS to expand capacity in areas like day-long trips to StartingBlock for students to work with entrepreneurs and explore frameworks like the Business Model Canvas. This longer-term goal could bring invaluable experience to students interested in business and innovation. Additionally, there’s interest in developing a larger budget for paid internships within the community. This would open doors for students to gain practical, paid experience in various fields, enhancing career readiness and skill-building. #TheNHTI #100State #FoundersCircleIgnite #BusinessInnovation #Empowerment
