It was brilliant to be at the Digital Excellence Conference yesterday, especially listening to what other professions and sectors are doing to keep pace with the ever-evolving digital and technology landscape, so they serve their communities well. Digital Excellence is the UK membership sector's annual digital conference and exhibition event. I enjoyed presenting on how our digital transformation at AAT is already shaping the next generation of accounting professionals, and how our amazing community are leading the way. Did you know that in the last year alone we delivered 164,130 assessments online? That equates to almost 450 assessments taken online every single day of the year. But we’re not stopping there. As part of our commitment to harnessing digital tools to unlock accessibility, AAT is rolling out the use of remote invigilation (RI). Technologies such as RI can help students overcome barriers associated with rurality, and disabilities, when trying to sit assessments.
