New Income Tax Act: The Ministry of Finance is drafting a new Income Tax Act aimed at simplifying the tax process for both individuals and businesses. Expected to be introduced during the 2025 Union Budget, the new framework will reduce the complexity of the current 1961 Act by eliminating around 125 redundant sections. The goal is to streamline tax filing and reduce compliance burdens. Do we really need. In my opinion yes it is long due we really need an updated act with less confusions. your thoughts on this .. 💭
