Microsoft Ignite 2024 is scheduled to take place in Chicago from November 18-22, 2024. It will be a hybrid event, offering both in-person and virtual participation options. The in-person venue will be McCormick Place in Chicago, marking the first time since 2015 that the event will return to the city. Ignite 2024 is set to focus heavily on AI innovations, including new tools, Copilot features, and deep technical training. Attendees can explore a variety of keynotes, demos, and interactive labs, while networking with Microsoft experts and partners. Registration opened on September 10, 2024, with different ticket options, including full conference passes and a free virtual attendance pass. If you plan to attend in person, you can expect prices to range from $2,225 for full access passes to $1,525 for an Expo-only pass. For virtual attendees, the digital pass will allow access to keynotes and select sessions without any cost. Additionally, special pre-day sessions will be available on November 18, which require an additional $325 fee. For accommodation, attendees can choose from a variety of hotels near the venue, with prices ranging between $229 and $319 per night, depending on location and proximity to McCormick Place. 🚀 Exciting news! 🚀 I’m thrilled to share that our project, Sustainability Interactive Analytics, has won an award at the hackathon! 🎉 This initiative aims to empower business users, even without advanced technical skills, to interactively analyze data from #MicrosoftSustainabilityManager beyond traditional, predefined dashboards. By creating a user-friendly semantic model, we’ve made it easier to query sustainability data directly from Excel or leverage #FabricCopilot for even deeper insights. It was an amazing experience collaborating with such a talented team, diving into the potential of #MicrosoftCloud and exploring how we can use #Copilot to unlock sustainability data for better decision-making. 🌱💡 A huge thank you to Andrea Coluccio for leading the project and guiding us with such vision and expertise. ✨ Just Finished My Week at the Microsoft Aspire Event! ✨ This week, I had the incredible opportunity to attend a Microsoft speaker event filled with an array of amazing and talented speakers that left a lasting impact on me. From insights into cutting-edge technology by Microsoft CCO Frank X. Shaw, President of the DevDiv Julia Liuson, EVP of Microsoft Security Charlie Bell, CPO Kathleen Hogan, CDO Lindsay-Rae McIntyre, to uplifting stories of growth and perseverance from special guests Ryan Leak and Michelle Poler, every speaker had something valuable to share. Being surrounded by driven Microsoft employees and engaging with thought leaders who are passionate about innovation and empowerment was beyond inspiring. Events like these remind me of the importance of continuous learning, collaboration, and staying motivated in our fast-paced industry. Here are my top 3 takeaways from this event: 1. Don't reject yourself before others reject you - don't get caught up in the "what ifs" that stop you from achieving your goals. 2. The importance of getting out your comfort zone - there are often opportunities that we miss out on because we're not stepping outside of our box. 3. Self care is just as important as making an impact - don't lose sight of your own health, it will backfire later on. A huge thank you to all the speakers who took the time to share their expertise and stories, and to the amazing people on the Aspire team for putting together such a transformative event. Special shoutout to Jason Gray (Jazz) for his never-ending bursts of energy while on stage.
