Anti-gender politics are fueling reactionary movements around the world. Anti-democratic leaders share a common script of where the “dangers of gender ideology” are used to rally support from electorates and often serve as pretext for distracting the public from other issues such as economic precarity and civil liberties restrictions. On November 14 at 12:15pm ET, join Julissa Mantilla and moderator Alicia Ely Yamin to discuss anti-gender politics in the context of #LatinAmerica.   Location: Hauser 105 or register online for Zoom participation. Lunch will be served. https://lnkd.in/ef625Uxa
