Projekt Renewable GY’s Post

The recent plant theft at PRG may have cast a shadow over our feed recently, but you know what? The outpouring of support from the community has absolutely drowned out any negativity that the destruction of the Plant + Paddle planters attempted to impart. The offers of support, time, money and foliage have been nothing short of epic, so thank you from everyone at PRG, Target NEL, The Crown Estate and the Plant + Paddle delivery team. So, while alongside Joanne Lord we’re pulling all this resource together to bring the community together in true ‘make do and mend fashion’, here’s a reminder of why we are doing what we’re doing, why we will come back bigger and better, why these plants will be replaced and truly rooted. It’s for them. For their future and ours. Their planters may have been destroyed, but the core memories they built, the imaginations that were sparked, and the things they learnt during these sessions can never be taken away.
