As we close out the year this being my last post of 2024, I want to express my heartfelt thanks to everyone who has found my posts insightful, whether you have read them in silence or openly engaged with them. Your growth and perspectives mean a lot to me. I hope my 2024 posts have helped change mindsets, whether as a leader, follower, employee, or individual. Through our interactions on this platform, I have learned a great deal, which has helped me refine my personal vision: 𝐌𝐲 𝐏𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐕𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧: To be a transformative leader in people management, empowering individuals to reach their full potential through mentorship programs while fostering a mindset of growth, grit, leadership, and excellence in their areas of expertise. As this is my last post for the year, I’d like to leave you with two key questions to reflect on: 1. 𝐈𝐟 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐚 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐫(manager), 𝐰𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐢𝐬 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧? I always tell leaders:How can you sell the organization’s vision if you don’t have one yourself? How can you lead if you don’t know where you are going? From my experience, leaders with a strong personal vision make great leaders and can easily align their teams with the company’s vision. They also tend to lead happier teams. 2. 𝐈𝐟 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐚 𝐟𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫 𝐰𝐡𝐨 𝐚𝐬𝐩𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐝, 𝐝𝐨 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐡𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐚 𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧? It’s difficult to follow if you don’t understand why you are following. Employees with a clear personal vision understand the importance of aligning with the company’s vision, and they tend to advance quickly in their careers. 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐞𝐚𝐬𝐨𝐧 𝐭𝐨 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐚𝐥𝐥. I pray that next year brings out the best in you, and may it be a year full of celebrations, elevation, and growth.
