What happens when desperate laid off folk from impacted industries like tech, insurance and finance respond? They are ghosted. What's the use? 🙁

What happens to the _inevitable_ ghosting of the candidate that sequentially follows this amazing short-lived burst of adrenalin? Or is the recruitment industry so _rife_ with this malpractice and awful sledgehammering of candidates' confidence and mental health that recruiters have become desensitised, nay, addicted to such horrible behaviour? What do I have to wish you for 2025 except "Shame on you!"... (And before you can excoriate me for my lack of recruitment experience, know that I have interviewed candidates for years and consulted with family who have been in the financial recruitment industry and feel equally ripped off - both in the job and for the candidates). Can I say it again with gusto? "Shame on you!" 👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾👎🏾

What happens when candidates ghost recruiters? To the recruiters I say, more often than not, you deserve it - because you have left numerous candidates in such broken and awful states by your most irresponsible practice of ghosting them. Shame. Shame on. Shame on you!
