Sales is everywhere Think sales is just for salespeople? Think again. Surprised? Don’t be. This message is coming from a salesperson. But it’s the truth! People often say, "Sales isn't my thing." I hear people say... Requesting things is uncomfortable. People say things like, "I can't close a deal." If you believe that sales has no impact on you... You’re missing out. Attraction and impact? They go beyond words. These are practical abilities. ✏ Is the IT manager launching new software? Sales is that. ✏ Is the HR director introducing a new training course? Sales is that. Are you requesting a raise or a promotion? Success! Sales. ✏ Are you networking and looking for a connection? Indeed, higher sales. Give up pretending you don't work in sales. Develop your negotiating abilities. You may not realize how important it is to your future. You're a natural at selling. Simply practice. . . . . . #sales #influence #negotiation

Things people outside of sales (and sometimes inside of sales) misunderstand #2 There is no designated skill or talent you were born with that makes you good at sales. Now this misunderstanding can be really great for some while annoying for others. The positive thing about this is that anyone can participate in sales. The “bad” thing is that this means that you have to work at it. Here are some of the things I have noticed that make people great at sales: 1 They are honest good people that care about those around them. 2. They like talking to people. 3. They are teachable. A lot of the “skills” are learnable. 4. They are great at following up and keeping track of their deals and discussions. Organization is critical. 5. Their not afraid of phones and calling people they don’t know. What did I miss? #sales
