🇮🇳 As We Approach 78 Years of Independence: What Are We Truly Celebrating? 🇮🇳 As we commemorate 78 years of independence on August 15, 2024, it’s time to reflect deeply on the kind of freedom we’re honoring. Are we celebrating a nation that protects and uplifts its citizens, especially its women, or are we turning a blind eye to the injustices that continue to plague our society? Consider these critical questions: • Are we granting the freedom to exploit and harm women, both in public spaces and the workplace? • Are we framing assaults and violations as something they’re not, silencing the truth and protecting the perpetrators? • Are we staying silent in the face of such injustices, only reacting when it’s too close to home? • Are we becoming passive spectators in a world that desperately needs active voices to ensure women’s safety? True freedom includes the safety and dignity of every woman. It’s about standing up against violence, ensuring that every woman can live and work without fear, and speaking out when justice is threatened. Let’s not just celebrate our freedom; let’s fight to ensure it’s meaningful for everyone. Speak up for justice and women’s safety. Stand with those who need your voice. #IndependenceDay #Justice #WomensSafety #SpeakUp #Equality #HumanRights

The atrocities against women have been nothing but a statistic. It's been going on so long that many of us have become numb - that's an absolutely dangerous territory. Unless we are united in our outrage and put the politicians in charge of policies that focus on the safety of women - hoping for change is naive. We need to be collectively outraged and ask for more than what we are getting. There is beauty in unity, and so much strength in diversity. If we all come together and shake the rotten foundation of the justice system, change is possible. If we come together from all strata of society to convince those with power that ignoring change will have dire consequences. If we create, connect, and commit together for women's safety, it is freedom for everyone. Because freedom for few is not freedom at all.

On this 78th Independence Day, we must confront a harsh truth: we cannot truly celebrate independence while women in our society continue to suffer horrific violence. Recent tragic event has reminded us that our freedom is incomplete as long as women live in fear, subject to objectification and brutality. True independence means safety and dignity for every woman, regardless of where she is or what time it is. We must challenge the deep-rooted mindsets that view women as objects and work toward a society that values their rights and humanity. Until we create a world where women can walk freely without fear, our celebrations of independence will be hollow. This Independence Day, let’s commit to ending the objectification and violence against women. Only then can we truly say we are a free nation. #IndependenceDay #WomensRights #SafetyForAll #EndViolence

The chains of women’s subjugation under the terrorist regime must be broken, for they represent not just the oppression of half the population, but the deliberate silencing of an entire nation’s potential. For decades, women have been denied their most basic rights, their voices crushed under the weight of a regime that fears their strength. Yet their defiance has become a flame, igniting a revolution that cannot be extinguished. This is not just a struggle for women’s equality; it is a fight for human dignity, for freedom itself. Now is the time for unity. Men and women must stand together as equals, rejecting the divisions that tyrants use to maintain power. Together, they face one enemy- the regime that thrives on fear and obedience. The liberation of women is the liberation of all, a necessary act of defiance against an oppressive system that thrives on silence. This is a call for rebellion, for revolution, for justice. A brighter future demands bold action, and history will remember those who dared to rise. #freedom #equality #new #revolution #ieltswriting

As we commemorate another Independence Day, I find myself contemplating the complex reality of our nation. Independence Day is a time for celebration, a moment to honor the sacrifices that have shaped our nation. Yet, how do we reconcile this joy with the harsh realities of the times we live in? The pain, the suffering, and the inhumanity that still exist within our borders—these are the truths we must confront. The tragic story of a young woman, tortured and dehumanized, her life ending in unimaginable agony, isn’t just a tale; it’s a mirror reflecting the systemic failures that plague our society. We are a country that celebrates freedom, yet we are shackled by the chains of injustice, inhumanity, and indifference. Even after 78 years of independence, women still aren't safe in our country. This is the saddest reality of our nation. This tragedy compels us to face uncomfortable truths about the safety and dignity of all members of our society. It's difficult to fully embrace the spirit of freedom when such atrocities continue to occur. The freedom of a nation is intrinsically tied to the freedom and dignity of all its citizens, including women. True independence is not merely about liberation from external control; it is about ensuring that every individual within the country can live with dignity, safety, and equal rights. In many ways, the treatment and status of women in society are powerful indicators of a nation's overall freedom and justice. If women are not safe, if they are not treated with respect, and if they are denied equal opportunities, then the nation's freedom is incomplete. A country cannot claim to be truly independent if half of its population is marginalized, oppressed, or denied their basic rights. So yes, the freedom and dignity of women are fundamental to the broader concept of national freedom. Independence Day is an apt time to reflect on how far we’ve come in achieving this and to recognize the work that still lies ahead. Ensuring the freedom and dignity of women is not just a matter of social justice; it is essential for the progress and integrity of the nation as a whole. Am I free today after celebrating the 78th year of independence of the country? Today I am thinking as a woman and not just a citizen. Many of us are still struggling to get independence, and we continue to fight against the injustices and atrocities that hold us back. Independence for me means breaking free from the violence, discrimination, and oppression that we face today. It’s about demanding a world where we can walk without fear, speak without being silenced, and live without being judged for our choices. On this day of national celebration, let us vow to make the dream of a great nation real today! A nation that respects and honours women. A nation that is safe for every woman. A nation that is just and fair. As we reflect on the meaning of independence, let’s commit to standing with all women in their fight for justice and equality. This Independence Day, let’s pledge to support each other, to amplify each other’s voices, and to never stop fighting for a world where every woman can live free from fear and full of hope. True independence is when all women, everywhere, can live their lives with the freedom, respect, and equality they deserve. Here’s to a future where independence means freedom for all. 💪✨ #IndependenceDay #Women’sRights #FreedomFromViolence

Why is it important to VOTE BLUE ACROSS THE ENTIRE BALLOT IN NOVEMBER? Project 2025: A 100-member advisory board of "Who's Who" of extremist far-right groups that includes Christian Nationalists and bigotry organizations along with funded dark money donors, has mapped out a plan of action to implement reforms that will erode multiracial democracy, in the event a "Conservative" wins the 2024 Presidential election. The Heritage Foundation is spearheading Project 2025, in an effort to rescue the country from "elite rule and woke cultural warriors" and with an intention to replace Democracy with Christian-based Authoritarianism. Project 2025 plan will continue to drive far-right groups to push for these changes listed below, as some have already been put into action at the local and state level across the country. "Among policies called for in the first 180 days of a conservative presidency:" 1) Eliminate LGBTQ+ and transgender rights 2) Eradicating federal funding for DEI programs 3) Ending reproductive freedom and replacing the Department of Health and Human Services with the “Department of Life.” 4) Ending climate change and environmental policies by shutting down the Office of Domestic Climate Policy, the Department of Energy’s Office of Clean Energy Demonstrations, the Office of Environmental Justice, and External Civil Rights, and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, to name a few. Climate science will no longer be used in National Security 5) Slashing of the Department of Justice and dismantling the FBI and replacing their traditional independence from political pressure with fealty to the administration. 6) Purging the government of apolitical civil servants by firing as many as 50,000 and hiring replacements from a database of personnel vetted for conservative values and loyalty, a “Conservative Linked In” 7) Eliminating the checks and balances built into three branches of government in favor of expanded control by the executive branch 8) Replacing the Department of Homeland Security with a 100,000-worker-strong immigration department, militarization of the border and an end to refugee programs 9) Fundamentally altering American diplomacy to push anti-abortion and anti-LGBTQ+ agendas, adopt a “human rights” regime distinct from the Universal Declaration of Human Rights, and abandon international organizations and traditional diplomatic and security alliances #VoteHarrisWalz2024 #VoteBlueAcrossTheBallot #StopTrumpVanceProject2025
