Our freedom fighters sacrificed immensely for our independence. Now, it’s our turn. Even after 78 years, fear and violence still bind our women. This Independence Day, let's pledge to not only honor our freedom but to fiercely protect the safety and dignity of every woman in our country. True freedom exists when our women walk without fear. The atrocities against women have been nothing but a statistic. It's been going on so long that many of us have become numb - that's an absolutely dangerous territory. Unless we are united in our outrage and put the politicians in charge of policies that focus on the safety of women - hoping for change is naive. We need to be collectively outraged and ask for more than what we are getting. There is beauty in unity, and so much strength in diversity. If we all come together and shake the rotten foundation of the justice system, change is possible. If we come together from all strata of society to convince those with power that ignoring change will have dire consequences. If we create, connect, and commit together for women's safety, it is freedom for everyone. Because freedom for few is not freedom at all.

This Independence Day, I reflect deeply on freedom's true meaning. While I am grateful for the safety and comfort within my walls, I can’t help but feel burdened by the harsh realities that persist in our society. Despite the progress we've made as a nation, I still fear for the safety and dignity of women around me. The ongoing threat of violence and injustice against women is a stark reminder that our freedom is not yet complete. The fear that someone I know could become the next victim of society's failures haunts me. The thought that a man I trust could betray that trust is equally unsettling. How can we truly celebrate independence when so many live in fear, bound by the shackles of a society that has yet to fully respect and protect its women? True independence, in my view, will come when justice is not just an ideal, but a reality for every woman, every family, and every soul that has suffered. Until then, we must continue to fight for a world where freedom and justice go hand in hand. #IndependenceDay #Freedom #JusticeForAll #EndViolenceAgainstWomen #EqualityForAll

The chains of women’s subjugation under the terrorist regime must be broken, for they represent not just the oppression of half the population, but the deliberate silencing of an entire nation’s potential. For decades, women have been denied their most basic rights, their voices crushed under the weight of a regime that fears their strength. Yet their defiance has become a flame, igniting a revolution that cannot be extinguished. This is not just a struggle for women’s equality; it is a fight for human dignity, for freedom itself. Now is the time for unity. Men and women must stand together as equals, rejecting the divisions that tyrants use to maintain power. Together, they face one enemy- the regime that thrives on fear and obedience. The liberation of women is the liberation of all, a necessary act of defiance against an oppressive system that thrives on silence. This is a call for rebellion, for revolution, for justice. A brighter future demands bold action, and history will remember those who dared to rise. #freedom #equality #new #revolution #ieltswriting

On this 78th Independence Day, we must confront a harsh truth: we cannot truly celebrate independence while women in our society continue to suffer horrific violence. Recent tragic event has reminded us that our freedom is incomplete as long as women live in fear, subject to objectification and brutality. True independence means safety and dignity for every woman, regardless of where she is or what time it is. We must challenge the deep-rooted mindsets that view women as objects and work toward a society that values their rights and humanity. Until we create a world where women can walk freely without fear, our celebrations of independence will be hollow. This Independence Day, let’s commit to ending the objectification and violence against women. Only then can we truly say we are a free nation. #IndependenceDay #WomensRights #SafetyForAll #EndViolence

Am I free today after celebrating the 78th year of independence of the country? Today I am thinking as a woman and not just a citizen. Many of us are still struggling to get independence, and we continue to fight against the injustices and atrocities that hold us back. Independence for me means breaking free from the violence, discrimination, and oppression that we face today. It’s about demanding a world where we can walk without fear, speak without being silenced, and live without being judged for our choices. On this day of national celebration, let us vow to make the dream of a great nation real today! A nation that respects and honours women. A nation that is safe for every woman. A nation that is just and fair. As we reflect on the meaning of independence, let’s commit to standing with all women in their fight for justice and equality. This Independence Day, let’s pledge to support each other, to amplify each other’s voices, and to never stop fighting for a world where every woman can live free from fear and full of hope. True independence is when all women, everywhere, can live their lives with the freedom, respect, and equality they deserve. Here’s to a future where independence means freedom for all. 💪✨ #IndependenceDay #Women’sRights #FreedomFromViolence

International Mens Day - What happened??? Did you see the empty parliament turn out for International Men's Day? (video below). My man friends (god bless you all) tell me it's incredibly difficult to put your hand up as a man and say you need help. For all sorts of reasons, from societal taboos, conditioning, the over dominance of the women's movement, the need to be seen to be strong, bullying, privilege... the list goes on. Gender equality won't happen without all of us championing the benefits for all of us. It's a time to come together for sure, but this video really shocks me! I'm super curious about this - so man friends of Linked IN .... what's your view about what happened at parliament? #internationalmensdayuk #genderequality #mensmentalhealth #futureofleaders We Are Frankly |Transforming senior leaders, senior teams and aligning leadership styles https://lnkd.in/e92auu73
