Dynamis Estate Wines | North Carolina 2024 🍇 https://lnkd.in/eW6x2C3r There is a story behind every brand. Here is ours. Dynamis is defined as the potential to obtain limitless power. We symbolize our winemaking journey with the Greek delta. In mathematics the delta has the ability to change the value of any variable. In the same way, a combination of people, place and time can overcome any obstacle in the pursuit of perfection. Our wine represents the path to create Dynamis. Our mission at Dynamis Estate Wines is to achieve premium-quality without compromise. This philosophy drives every decision we make—from vineyard to winery to tasting lodge and everywhere in between. We hand-harvest fruit during the cool cover of darkness and pick grapes into small harvest bins to maintain fruit integrity. Careful cluster and berry sorting ensure fruit quality. Gentle destemming and fruit movement in our fermentation tanks, with an elegant selection of glassware and closures, creates a memorable tasting experience that leaves you wanting more. We handcraft our wines in small lots with the pinnacle of quality in mind and monitor every drop with surgical precision creating a time capsule in a bottle to enjoy for years to come, one vintage after another.

Interesting Pinot Noir tasting It's been a while, but the time had finally come. This time we decided to organize a tasting around Pinot Noir from various interesting regions. Pinot Noir is a versatile, generally cool-climate grape that can often give a good expression of the terroir. Naturally, Pinot Noir is queen in Burgundy, where we can find the very best wines. Martin Schwarz – Spätburgunder-Portugieser 2017 The small region of Saxony is located in deep Germany. Here we find the Martin Schwarz vineyard with 6 hectares of vineyards on the steep slopes along the Saxon Wine Route. Wine management here is completely manual, partly because of the steep slopes. Bernard Rion Beaune 2020 It was in 1896 that the history of Domaine Armelle and Bernard Rion began. It was founded in Vosne Romanée and since then the know-how has been passed on from generation to generation. The 3rd generation of winemakers has now taken over and they are working the 9.5 hectares of vines in the Côte de Nuits and Côte de Beaune. https://lnkd.in/eCDF7kBP

Wine tourism is on the rise across Europe, with most regions experiencing year-over-year growth in visitors. Maximizing the potential of direct-to-consumer (DtC) sales should, therefore, be a priority for everyone in the industry. On a recent visit to Tokaj, I was glad to see wineries improving their DtC efforts. One tasting room I visited now has nearly 20000 newsletter subscribers and leverages email marketing to fill events and, of course, drive DtC sales. They even implemented a strategy to boost sign-ups: each month, new subscribers are entered into a draw to win a wine tasting experience. I believe that sooner or later, ‘New World’ DtC practices—such as email and sms marketing, email automations, CRM, and even wine subscriptions—will be adopted across the European wine industry. We just need the right education and solid examples. Once a winery succeeds, the neighbours will follow. We recently explored how to maximize customer data capture in tasting rooms with Geoffrey Moss MW in our latest blog post, which includes a case study on an email automation we implemented for a winery. This automation simplifies data capture for the tasting room team while enhancing customer value. Link in the comments.

Luxembourg - Who was there? Have you tried it? I am deeply impressed. I briefly visited the area during a quick trip that started at the source of the Moselle River in France and followed the river up to Koblenz where it meets the Rhine. I knew that there was wine cultivation in Luxembourg, but I was completely unaware of the quality, the beauty of the area, and the level of professionalism among the winemakers. We've written a little summary, so if you would like to read a bit about Luxembourg and its wine world, you can do so here: https://lnkd.in/dvW3juYK Otherwise, a brief summary: - A little less than 1,300 hectares, most of it in AOC Moselle Luxembourgeoise along the Moselle River at the Luxembourg-German border - 90% white wine: Pinot Blanc, Pinot Gris, Riesling, Auxerrois, Elbling. - Pinot Noir and Pinot Precoce (Frühburgunder) are "on the rise" Today, there are more than 350 commercial winemakers.

Chile’s ascending star of site-specific viticulture, Francisco Baettig BAETTIG is the ambitious new project from Chile's iconic winemaker Francisco Baettig, renowned for Errázuriz. Baettig's focus on purity and precision in viticulture is finding it's new home in the cooler, more southern regions of Chile. Working primarily in the Malleco Valley, Baettig crafts wines that are a profound expression of place, showcasing the potential of cool-climate Pinot Noir and Chardonnay while highlighting the untapped depth of Cabernet Sauvignon from Maule. In just a few short years since the first vintage in 2016, Baettig has emerged as one of South America's most exciting and pioneering names in fine wine ... one to watch, for sure!
