Interesting issue today. The subscriber uses a Chromebook, and the Internal Mic no longer works. There is no mic in Meet or Voice. When she connected headphones, it would not use them for playback; only the inbuilt speakers would. Now, the usual fix is a Powerwash, which is a reset of a Chromebook. It takes minutes to fix 9 out of 10 issues. But not today! Oh no. The issue remained. I connected with Chrome Remote Desktop and validated that all the settings were correct. It was a fault in the OS. The solution was to upgrade Chrome OS to the Beta edition. Now, this is not an approach for every day. Beta is Beta, and that means things that might not work. However, for now, the subscriber reports back that everything is working, and they can use the microphone once again. Once again, having IT Assistance on hand has saved this subscriber hours of troubleshooting, buying a new Mic and all the associated wasted time.

Save your tab groups for later. You can save and open tab groups across desktop devices when you need them. This makes it easier to clean up your tab strip and focus on the thing you need to get done. 1. Right- click a Tab and select Add tab to group. 2. Turn on Save group and your group will appear in the bookmarks bar. 3. To remove the group from your tab strip but keep if for later, right-click. 4. On a different desktop device, sing-in and see your groups in the bookmark bar.
