Its all happening in Latin America North in Q1 of 2024! We provide another update for the exciting discoveries, fields coming on-stream, international disputes and sanction resolutions. In Trinidad & Tobago we have the Cypre gas discovery (BP & Repsol) and Dragon field development progressing (Shell). Guyana has more FPSO progress and continues to increase production along with more discoveries, with Bluefin (ExxonMobil Op), while international attention is focused on Venezuela's claim to the Essequibo region of Guyana. Suriname has some exciting wells drilling, looking to continue its success in block 52 (Petronas Op). Brazil has two new discoveries in on its equatorial margin in Pitu Oeste and Anhanga (Petrobras) and plenty of activity in the prolific Campos and Santos basins. Weekly U.S. LNG Exports from the Energy Information Administration Vessels departing U.S. ports: Twenty-five LNG vessels (seven from Sabine Pass, five from Corpus Christi, four each from Cameron and Freeport, three from Calcasieu Pass, and one each from Cove Point and Elba Island) with a combined LNG-carrying capacity of 94 Bcf departed the United States between June 6 and June 12, according to shipping data provided by Bloomberg Finance, L.P. #maritime #lng #lngindustry #lngshipping

Stranded assets are not only stranded hydrocarbon resources/reserves, but all the way up the value chain, across transportation logistics (Upstream/Midstream/Downstream). Investors will be increasingly hesitant to invest in sectors with strong potential for generation of stranded assets.
