Being a part of the group really helps if you ever wanted a career in support services or emergency services. It's great to go out and help the community and you come across so many different situations. DCS provides the team with great trainings. Whether it be learning about all the support services available to an individual or knowing how to use a rope bag, there's training available for everything. Not only that but DCS Management also provides a great support network for all it's members. It comes in mad handy if you dealt with something serious on a particular night and just wanted to speak to someone to get it of your chest. Honestly i love being out with dcs being out there to help people and also having the best team around me." Consequently, it becomes imperative that these thoughtful committed citizens are engaged when helping raise funds for your mission at all times. National Volunteer Week (April 21-27) Serving in your #community and #volunteering are powerful ways to make a positive impact on the world around you. By dedicating your time and skills to helping others, you can create meaningful change, foster connections and contribute to the well-being of those in need. While National Volunteer Week kicks off April 21, VA invites everyone in the community to explore ways to give back to Veterans any time of the year. In addition, #Veterans can explore volunteer opportunities as part of VetServe 2024, which encourages Veterans to become volunteers to support other Veterans. On April 24, 2024, join #VA in supporting a National Day of Service through VetServe 2024. #VetServe is a celebration of service and a call-to-action aimed to encourage the nation’s 19 million Veterans, their families, caregivers and survivors to serve in their community. Did you know 🤷♂️ 🙌In Fiscal Year 2023, 25,403 active volunteers contributed more than 3.2 million hours of service to Veterans, their families, caregivers, and survivors at VA medical facilities across the country. Additionally, these individuals, along with community partners generously donated more than $81.1 million to VA, supporting critical programs and essential services that have a lasting and positive impact on Veterans. 🤯 There were 25,403 volunteers on VA’s rolls during FY 2023, contributing a total of more than 3.2 million hours of service. It would require 1,565 Full Time Equivalents (FTE) to cover the workload of CDCE volunteers. 🎯#CDCE volunteers and their organizations contributed more than $81.1 million in gifts and donations in FY 2023 for a combined total value of over $112.4 million in volunteer service and giving. 🤜🤛Monetary estimates aside, it is impossible to calculate the amount of caring and sharing these CDCE volunteers provide to Veteran patients. #NationalVolunteerWeek #VA #Volunteers #Community #VetServe

I keep seeing Linkedin posts from the Rapid Relief Team (RRT) United Kingdom about the "good" work they do. What most people don't know is that RRT is the "charity" face of the Plymouth Brethren Christian Church (PBCC) https://lnkd.in/eDVCTxpc a very wealthy organisation ruled by "the man of god" or "the elect vessel" an Australian called Bruce Hales. However, the story is not quite so simple. The PBCC is a worldwide religious cult with approximately 55,000 "members". The members are born in to the cult and and conditioned from babyhood to follow their interpretation of the bible. The PBCC were formerly known as the exclusive brethren, changing the name to placate the Charity Commission. A core principle of the PBCC is separation from evil; evil being anyone who is not a member of the PBCC. And even worse than evil is anyone who has dared to escape from the clutches of the PBCC, where it has been known for the leaders to demand members "pray" for their removal (die) of those who've left. The latest post from the Rapid Relief Team highlighted their "great" work supporting She Inspires 2024, with 450 girls playing football in Liverpool. The irony is, the PBCC doesn't allow its members, especially women, to play team sports, certainly not with none members. In fact women are subjected to men, especially once married. A wife is there to serve her husband who must be obeyed. Married women aren't allowed to work; they're not allowed education beyond statutory requirements. Sadly, the rules of the PBCC and the conditioning of its members from a young age has ripped families apart. If a member sees the light and escapes the brain washing, they are withdrawn from, meaning nobody within, including parents, siblings, spouses, children or grand children are allowed contact with them. How do I know this? My wife escaped just over 10 years ago facing a life or death situation. The price she has paid is beyond most people's imagination, but what is the price of freedom.
