Hello everyone, I'm Saif, sports performance and fitness consultant. I'm excited to share that I have been selected as an Executive committee member in the s s Network. It's an honor to be part of this amazing team and I'm thrilled about the opportunities that I'm going to contribute to the field of sports and exercise science while growing both personally and professionally. I would like to talk about the physical literacy for men in India. Indian men can often be grouped into 3 categories. Number one, those who allocate separate time for fitness #2 those who juggle fitness with work #3 those who say they don't have time for fitness. Within these three groups of fitness, there are 10% of men who actually understands the purpose of fitness they do, while the others they randomly do fitness for everyone. To understand the purpose of fitness, we men need to be aware of what physical literacy is. Physical literacy isn't just about hitting the gym, it is about having the confidence, skills and the. Understanding to more efficiently in daily life, think about how often do you avoid stairs. Or complain about back pain. Or feel tired after work. To understand better, the first thing to do is observe your lifestyle, check out your routine, go through day-to-day activity, look at the physical demands required, think about your work when down everything and then go to a sports science professional and come up with the fitness plan. This will make you physically literate and understand your purpose of fitness. Physical literacy helps you to stay active, resilient and ready for all life challenges whether it be carrying groceries, chasing. Or just feel good. Let's take a pledge. To be physically literate and to make everyone around us physically literate. Thank you.
