Cockpit Familiarization I was privileged to be selected to take my colleagues EFIS Cockpit familiarization during our field work, an aspect of ATR 42/72 Type Rating course. Incomprehensible and perplexing Aircraft cockpit used to appear to me as a Trainee. From the cockpit console, to the instrument panel, to the central pedestal, to the overhead panel, to the maintenance panel, to the Circuit breakers… It was just a whole lot for me. I once met an Engineer who has the picture of an Aircraft Cockpit in his memory and could perfectly describe almost everything and correct locations off hand. This was a big deal to a Trainee like me This challenged me and I made it a duty to visit the cockpit more frequently with Engineers, watch videos on cockpit familiarization, study manuals and keep a small jotter. Definitely it wasn't a day’s job, Newbies should not be too harsh on themselves on this. Fast forward to my ATR 42/72 Type course when our instructor Houssaine Elasli selected me to take my colleagues EFIS Cockpit Familiarization while my colleagues were to handle other sections/systems of the Aircraft. It was a walkover for me due to the attention I have been giving to the cockpit since my Trainee. Furthermore, I learnt more from my colleagues' questions and my instructor's contributions. For me learning continues, it's the same reason I always prefer to sit in the cockpit with the flight crew during flight because you learn more about the cockpit inflight. It's good as AME when you can work on the systems of aircraft and also can perform cockpit tasks such as operations Test/checks accurately in accordance with your manual and your licence privileges. #atr #aircraftmaintenance #aviation #

If you are a pilot, you know that keeping your type rating up to date is crucial for your career. But at Train-By-Wire | TBW AERO DIVISION, we believe revalidating your type rating means much more than just taking an #LPC. It's an opportunity to showcase your skills and exchange knowledge with experts in the field. We designed our annual Proficiency Check to allow your licensing authority to assess your technical and soft skills to ensure you can operate your aircraft safely and efficiently. But it's also a unique opportunity to learn from experienced examiners and exchange tacit knowledge to help you become a better pilot. To help you prepare for this formal check, we give you access to various professional tools we and major airlines use for initial type ratings. You won't have to pay anything extra to use these tools, including Heading365's #FMS Trainer. Here's what one of our client pilots, Captain Sébastien Morel, had to say about it: "App downloaded, I started to use it. Amazing!" https://lnkd.in/ddh8mCUA So, if you want to stay ahead of the game and be the best pilot you can be, Train-By-Wire | TBW AERO DIVISION is here to help you every step of the way. Maintining their skills for a yearly evaluation is painfull to pilots who don’t fly the aircraft every day. However, renewal is less expensive than revalidation 😬 These tools are particularly designed to train experienced pilots because even if each one is different (culture, type of aircraft/operations flown…) they all tend to the same goal : know how to use the aircraft and get the job done. This includes #flightsafety, #teamwork, #efficiency, #customerexperience… Let’s hope new technologies won’t be used by operators, regulators and aircraft manufacturers to solve the pseudo « pilot shortage » problem with less pilots in a cockpit 🤔 Pilots training is a pillar of #safety, far from ticking a box compliance and money making. #pilottraining

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗶𝘀 𝗯𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴? This chart shows a flight tracking of a recent performed #basetraining by our GlobeAir training team. In the journey of becoming a certified pilot for a specific #aircraft type, 'base training' marks a pivotal milestone. But what exactly does this phase entail? Base training is the crucial segment of a pilot's #typerating course where theory meets practice in the most tangible manner. It is the phase where pilots, having mastered the simulator sessions, transition to the actual aircraft. Here, they perform a series of take-offs and landings under the watchful eyes of experienced instructors. This hands-on experience is vital, allowing pilots to apply their knowledge in real-world scenarios, ensuring they are fully prepared to operate the aircraft safely and efficiently. At #GlobeAir, we take pride in offering an unparalleled base training experience through our own EASA - European Union Aviation Safety Agency approved ATO (Approved Training Organization). What sets us apart? In-House Excellence: We conduct our base training with our #MyPrivateJet fleet, under the guidance of GlobeAir's seasoned flight instructors. This ensures a seamless, high-quality training experience that adheres to the highest standards of #flightsafety and #bizav professionalism. Personalized Training: Understanding that each pilot's learning curve is unique, our training is tailored to meet individual needs, ensuring every pilot achieves the requisite #proficiency and confidence. GlobeAir's Fleet: Our base training is conducted on our own aircraft we are offering to #privatejetcharter customers. This not only provides trainees with the opportunity to become acquainted with the exact machinery they will operate but also ingrains a deeper understanding and familiarity with GlobeAir's operational #businessaviation ethos. As we continue to empower the #nextgeneration of pilots with the skills and knowledge needed for success, #FlyGlobeAir's commitment to excellence in aviation training shines brighter than ever. Our #ATO is not just a facility; it's a cornerstone for aspiring pilots to complete their #typetraining with the assurance of quality, safety, and expertise. Special thanks to our team members Federico Bevilacqua, Davide Redini, Siv Chandrakumaran, Mehdi Ben Hassine and Michael Fritz who ensure highest quality on the base training and organisation requiered.

#AlwaysBeLearning Prepping for flight training next week. Trying to internalize all this material. After a long break from professional flying, getting back into the swing of things requires pushing all this knowledge back in my head. Everything from engine systems, regulations, procedures, and aircraft specific ops. it's a ton of work but incredibly enjoyable. Something I love about aviation is that there are known answers for just about everything. And more importantly, it consists of hundreds of people working together, using the same structures and processes, to deliver safe and efficient operations. What is invisible in this picture is the sense of mission and purpose that the whole team brings to a successful flight.

Dear Indian Aviators, Many of you have asked about the road map to becoming an EASA Licensed Engineer, so I’m sharing a step-by-step guide to help you reach your dream destination.(So Précised) 🖋 Step 1: Clear Basic Part 66 Modules Start by passing the Basic Part 66 Module exams and collecting certificates from an EASA-approved 147 school. 📝 Step 2: Obtain Basic AML Once you’ve successfully completed Step 1, apply to an EASA regulatory authority with the necessary forms, documents, and work experience logged in Personal Logbook.3 Years for Cat A , 5 Years for B1/B2 Yes Few Authority Agree DGCA approved 145 organization Logbooks!! Once Basic License is issued, you can apply For Europe and Middle East Organization like Ryanair, Etihad, Lufthansa, Qatar Etc. Note: Unlike the Indian DGCA, no computer number is allotted here. ✈ Step 3: Type Training After obtaining your Basic AML, undergo type training for a specific aircraft. We recommend starting with the A320 or B737 as your first type rating course. (Reason for this recommendation explained in Step 4.) ⚒ Step 4: SOJT Program Upon passing the theoretical and practical exams for your chosen aircraft, you’ll need to complete a mandatory Structured On-the-Job Training (SOJT) program for your first type endorsement at an EASA-approved organization. Common SOJT programs are available for A320 and B737. After completing the SOJT, apply to the EASA regulatory authority for your first Aircraft Maintenance License (AML) with the necessary documents. Note: No SOJT is needed for subsequent type endorsements. 🛫 🛫 🛫 Step 5: Start Certifying Aircraft Once you’ve received authorization from your working organization, you can begin certifying aircraft. This is a Short overview of the process. For more detailed information or assistance with any of the steps, feel free to contact us at +971-557572947 or email us at enquiry@aeroplanner.info. or Comment for Any Doubts!!
