Last Friday, E.ON One and lemonbeat (one of E.ON One’s scale-ups) visited ABB in Ratingen to explore the possibilities of #digitalisation of local network stations.  Our Smart Monitoring Operator (#SMO) is currently being tested in an ABB's secondary substation. Once the data collection phase starts, SMO will gather and analyse data points from the substation, including system status details, operating parameters and environmental conditions, which will be used to optimise grid operations.    The integration of digital solutions is essential to make secondary substations smarter and more flexible for a successful digitalisation and expansion of the grid infrastructure.  Read more > https://lnkd.in/ewfkTq6G

Last week we had the chance to show our SF6 free Medium Voltage offering (and many other innovations) to customers and partners at Enlit in Milano. What is clear: as the F-gas regulation will force a transitions to SF6 free products in Europe, starting at 2026, we need to team-up with customers and partners closer than ever before to make it happen and avoid bottle necks in supply or impacts on the reliability of the power grid.
