On behalf of the Financial Action Task Force, the Charity Commission has launched a consultation with an online survey of the UK’s not-for-profit sector, on the risks non-profit organisations face from terrorist financing schemes. The survey is only open until 31st January 2025, so there is only a short window for responding. The aim of the consultation is to gather insights from relevant stakeholders to help understand and identify potential vulnerabilities, trends and threats in respect of the risk of terrorist financing abuse in the voluntary sector and in wider civil society. Our Senior Charities Council, Nicola Evans and trainee solicitor, Imogen Greenwood explore points which arise from the survey in our article which you can read by following the link: https://lnkd.in/dNpVFbqN For further details and to participate in the survey, please visit the consultation page via the link below: https://lnkd.in/ejv9rygM

Hey Friends, Connections, and Followers! Allow me a second to put in a request for some financial assistance for an organization that I think highly of, and that deserves funding for the mission they fulfill. Information Technology Disaster Resource Center (ITDRC), a 100% non-profit who responds to natural disasters, municipal crisis, and much more. Providing rapid stand up IT infrastructure and support for communities during a disaster until the local infrastructure can be restored! This allows the local government, community and citizens to maintain a small fraction of normalcy during their worst days! Internet stations, Charging Stations, workstations and more in a matter of hours, not days! Please consider supporting this group, and if you're a large corporation and would like to make a difference as a Corporate Sponsor, please let me know and we'll ensure the conversations are had to develop a mutual agreed sponsorship! https://lnkd.in/gh9KuuqE #ITDRC #Disasterrelief #Sponsors #Donations #nonprofit #makeadifference #alwaysready #connectingcommunities #USA #Global #Responsematters #makingadifference #donationshelp #volunteer #volunteersmakethedifference

I have been told many times that there isn't enough money for security, but then, when something happens, the funds magically appear. It's crucial to be proactive rather than reactive. Here are 3 links where you can find the needed funds for security in various sectors: - Houses of worship - Educational facilities - Medical facilities - Camps - Museums - Senior centers/care facilities - Community and social service organizations - Shelters/crisis centers - Event venues - Science organizations Find the grants you need to enhance security measures: 1. FEMA Grant Program for Nonprofit Security: [Link 1](https://lnkd.in/efD6Wvve.) 2. Texas Nonprofit Security Grant Program: [Link 2](https://lnkd.in/eF35xHcy) 3. Non-Profit Security Grant Pre-Application Guide: [Link 3](https://lnkd.in/einxke4K) Don't wait until after an incident occurs; utilize these grants to enhance security and protect your organization. #SecurityGrants #ProactiveSecurity #CommunitySafety #securitastechnogoly #churchsafety For more information on security call me at 214-477-6692
