WTCA Organized Overseas Participation at the 2024 CIIE The WTCA Asia Pacific Regional Office (APRO) team successfully facilitated overseas participation at the 7th annual China International Import Expo (CIIE) in Shanghai, held on November 5-10. As the top trade show for imported goods in China, CIIE welcomed nearly 3,500 exhibitors and 430,000 professional visitors across an expansive 360,000-square-meter exhibition area. US President Joe Biden's official state visit to Germany underlines the importance of the USA as a close partner of Germany. This also applies to the German trade fair industry. Valuable partnerships, such as the one with the United States of America, contribute to the international success of Germany as a trade fair location - the world's No. 1. 🟣 In 2023, almost 4,300 exhibitors from the USA were guests at 125 German trade fairs. In addition, around 75,000 US visitors came to Germany this year. 🟣 German companies are also present at trade fairs in the USA: 28 German Pavilions are planned at trade fairs in the USA as part of the German government's foreign trade fair program in 2024.
