I’ve never really understood the air mile radius rules. I mean, I understand them, but not the “why” behind the exemption. I’ve seen catastrophic accidents happen with less than 150 air mile drivers. I’ve seen those drivers fatigued. We have all drivers (exempt or non-exempt) keep ELDs no matter. Much easier to manage on the admin side, too.

Driveaway towaway is the wild wild West of HOS. I agree there's abuse in all the areas mentioned but nowhere near what we see in driveaway towaway
