I’ve watched this 30th Anniversary video a few times now and I absolutely love it. I feel it not only speaks to players but also speaks to game developers that have worked at PlayStation and have been a part of the journey. Even if a title you worked on wasn’t featured, the emotions in the video connect to what it felt like to work there - for me I identified with 27 of those emotions: Love - Friendship - Wonder - Sacrifice - Adventure - Courage - Skill- Celebration- Teamwork - Fear - Legends - Companionship - Expression - Mayhem - Creativity - Honor - Chaos - Exploration - Resolve - Mischief - Intensity - Freedom - Connection - Heroics - Joy - Drive - Persistence It’s hard not be there for the big celebrations after being there for a huge part of your career however, I’m focusing on supporting developers in a different capacity now - through coaching and consultancy with Co-Collaborate Game development is hard but also very rewarding. Given all these emotions that developers can face, make sure you support and invest in them - don’t cut your people budget too tightly and fail in that. As this video shows - people really do make wonderful things that bring a lot of joy.

Celebrating one year at SMARTHMS & SOLUTIONS PRIVATE LIMITED! This year, I have: - Initiated the implementation of a design system across the product. - Implemented Custom Icon set onto the product. - Embraced and learned from criticisms, focusing on understanding rather than winning. - Acquired HTML & CSS skills, streamlining design for developers. - Prioritised impactful work, ensuring time and effort benefit many users, avoiding low-usage UIs. Some tips that helped me grow: - Step Up, be an owner instead of an executor. An executor just completes what's assigned to him, but an owner takes the extra responsibility of its final outcome. - Growth is initiated, not given. We have to step up and take opportunities. Looking forward to achieving even more in the coming years!

I had this tradition for three years: looking back on 2024 by reading through one positive email at a time in my “ positive emails” folder in Outlook: As the year comes to a close, I’ve taken a moment to reflect—by revisiting the positive emails I received throughout 2024. It’s so easy to get caught up in the day-to-day, but pausing to reread those kind messages, shared wins, and thoughtful words from colleagues reminded me of just how much we’ve achieved together this year. Whether it was celebrating a project milestone, overcoming a challenge, or just a simple note of gratitude, each email tells a story of collaboration, creativity, and connection. Working on LEGO projects has been a joy—not just because of the work itself but because of the incredible people I’ve had the privilege to work alongside. So here’s a little encouragement for you: take a moment to dig into your inbox and rediscover those emails or messages that brought a smile to your face. It’s a great way to close the year on a positive note and remind yourself of all the good stuff—big and small. What’s one moment or highlight you’re grateful for in 2024? I’d love to hear it. We are celebrating our 1st year 🎗 Here is what I wish I knew before starting Credit: at the beginning stage, your company will not have any credit. Therefore, it can be extremely hard to move freight, unless you already have a big driver base that trusts you. In many cases, you can offer the drivers payment before the delivery, and they will still refuse to book, because of lack of trust. Niche down: choose a small niche, and start doing research. Learn the common issues that shippers face in this specific niche. Come up with solutions to those issues. Focus on these solutions, when doing cold calls or sales in general. Overhead: As you start growing, you will get many calls and emails from companies offering services (tracking services, TMS, marketing, customer leads, business optimizations, credit improvements, etc.). Most of these services will have a binding contract, meaning you will not be able to cancel these services unless the contract ends (some can last up to 3 years). Think twice, before accepting any of these services, because most of your customers can switch to a competitor in any day. This can result in a situation of low cash flow and high overhead, potentially leading to bankruptcy.
