Density is a critical component of city building. Building up a city’s main avenues is an important part of the success. It’s good to see developments taking place along the avenues, in #Windsor, even if sporadically.
3-4 story, #mediumscalemediumdensity building can drive the demand for more, better, and varied types of transit, housing, and amenities along our main street commercial corridors.

With commercial real estate getting back on solid ground, green is red hot.
In demand are pollinator pathways, green roofs, courtyards and plazas, and healthy outdoor spaces that not only add tangible value, but make your property more desirable, more marketable, and more competitive.
Landscaping is a relatively easy way to fast-track progress on goals. Learn what we're doing to change the value narrative and why the more innovative the amenity, the better in ELMs Q1 CRE report.

"A mixed-use building that aims to fill many of the gaps in Jaywick’s needs." Charles Holland reviews HAT Projects’ Sunspot: a carefully tuned "decorative shed" that aims to strike a balance between utilitarian good sense and a playful pop sensibility while giving #JaywickSands in #Essex the key spaces that it lacked. Welcome to the Waldorf Astoria Miami
The Waldorf Astoria Hotel and Residences is a skyscraper currently under construction in Miami, Florida. It is the first supertall building to begin construction in Florida, out of several that have been proposed in Miami in the 21st century. In fact, it is on the same block as the proposed Empire World Towers in the 2000s, which was ultimately scaled back and cancelled. It is planned to rise to the maximum on allowable height in downtown Miami of 1,049 ft above sea level, or about 1,040 ft above ground, making it easily the tallest building in Miami and Florida, surpassing the Panorama Tower built in 2017. Construction began in late 2022 and is expected to complete in 2026. It is located on Biscayne Boulevard between NE 3rd and 4th Streets in the Central business district of Greater Downtown Miami, across from Bayfront Park. The design is inspired by stacked and cantilevered boxes; it will have nine such cubes with 10 to 11 floors each, comprising nearly 100 stories of condominium and hotel space, topped by a five floor penthouse with over 30,000 square feet. It is named after the Waldorf Astoria New York in New York City; worldwide Waldorf Astoria hotels are managed under the Hilton Hotels group. Courtesy of Wikipedia.

Transit Orientated Development program is the new strategic plan for Sydney and you can use MOSAIC to map out your planning. Transit-orientated development or ‘TOD’ is a land use approach that seeks to optimise mixed use development around key transport nodes and encourage a more sustainable form of urban development around key transport infrastructure hubs. Planning is underway to:
👉 allow apartment buildings to be permissible in residential zones within 400m of identified stations.
✔️ allow residential apartment buildings and shop-top housing in local and commercial centres within 400m of identified stations.
Use MOSAIC’s land use zone filter, measuring tools and travel distances to strategically plot out your response to this transformative planning policy.
👇 North Strathfield Station, one of 31 TOD sites under the TOD program, with filtered zones, and 400m radius line.
