Happy Friday, everyone! Today, my mind is taking me to this place, remembering that it all comes down to this. There is never as much time as we think. Time always moves too fast. It never stops moving, and it never slows down. One minute you're young, full of life, and feel like you have all the time in the world ahead of you. And then suddenly, in what feels like a blink of an eye, you are so much older, and what came before seems like a blur. Then you question yourself, did I make the most of my time? Did I do all the things I wanted to do in my life? Did I say the things I wanted to say or needed to say? Did I achieve all the things I wanted to achieve? I'm thinking maybe not. With the hustle and bustle of life, I'm sure we can all say there were things we missed. So today, I want to remind everyone that none of us knows how much time is ahead for us. Remember to always make the most of each day and moments you have. Don't procrastinate with the things you want to do or say to others. Don't wait to let people know what they mean to you. Make sure those who mean the most to you know exactly how you feel about them. Don't waste a minute of this time you're given. Remember, in the end, it all comes down to this: There is never as much time as we think, unfortunately. 🤔 😉😁🥰🤷♀️🌺 . . . #happyfridayeveryone #itsfridaytoday #fridaythoughts #todayimthinkingabout #thinkaboutthisnow #theresneverenoughtime #timemovesfast #lifemovesfast #itallcomesdowntothis #dontprocrastinate #saythethingsyouneedtosay #dontwait #dontwaitfortomorrow #dontwasteaminuteofit #lifeistooshort #timeisprecious #timeisagift #timeisathief #litposts #sharingiscaring #sharingonsocialmedia #positivity #lifeisgood #lifechanges #dontletthereberegrets

𝐅𝐢𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐉𝐨𝐲 𝐢𝐧 𝐄𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲𝐝𝐚𝐲 𝐌𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 Often, we overlook the small joys that make life beautiful. The smile of a loved one, the warmth of a sunny day, or even a simple cup of coffee can bring immense happiness if we allow ourselves to notice them. This midweek let's make an effort to be present and find joy in the little things, even at work. At work, it's easy to get lost in demands and deadlines, but small moments can make a significant difference. A friendly chat with a colleague, the satisfaction of completing a task, or a brief moment of reflection can all be sources of joy. Taking a short break to stretch, enjoying a healthy snack, or simply acknowledging your accomplishments can brighten your day. What small joys can you find today to brighten your week? #20daylinkedinchallengewithhaoma

Feeling grateful 🌟 Yesterday, we had the incredible Nadia Zekaria visit the Six Degrees offices to run a breathwork session with us. She taught us the importance of checking in with ourselves daily and creating quiet time for breathing. It sounds simple, but it's surprising how many of us don't make time or know how to use our incredibly powerful breath. Working in recruitment and sales can be a high-stress environment. Understanding how we can use our breath to regulate our mind, and body can have so many benefits. 𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐫𝐞𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧- deep, controlled breathing activates the parasympathetic nervous system, helping to calm the body and mind. 𝐈𝐦𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐝 𝐟𝐨𝐜𝐮𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐜𝐥𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐲 - increasing oxygen flow to the brain, breathwork can enhance concentration and mental clarity. 𝐌𝐢𝐧𝐝-𝐛𝐨𝐝𝐲 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 - breathwork helps build greater awareness of the connection between the mind and body, promoting mindfulness, gratitude and presence. It’s fair to say that some of us felt emotional during and after the session, especially with it being coupled with R U OK Day. I’m feeling incredibly grateful for yesterday’s experience and proud to work for a business that values this kind of vulnerability. Thank you Nadia Zekaria and thank you Six Degrees Executive. And thank you Jesse Moore for organising the fuzzy messages for everyone in the office <3

It’s easy to get swept away in the hustle—between work, social gatherings, and at the end of the year holiday preparations. However something I am passionate about is also understanding that the end of year provides a perfect moment to pause, reflect, and express gratitude for what we’ve achieved and the wonderful people who’ve supported us along the way. In my recent series on closing out the year, I’ve emphasised the importance of gratitude in setting yourself up for success in the new year. If you’re finding it challenging to pinpoint what you’re grateful for, don’t worry—start small! I use a simple mind map to explore the people, moments, and things that have made a difference this year. Sometimes, it’s the little joys—a great cup of coffee, a sunny day, or quiet moments of reflection. 👉 I’ve attached my mind map below for you to customise to your own experiences! Once you identify what or who you’re grateful for, take a moment to acknowledge it. Thank that person or make space for those joyful moments in your life more often next year. A small selection of things that I am grateful for are; the amazing support of my partner, my team (Three6 legends) and their continuous commitment to do good, my niece who constantly brings joy and calls at the most inappropriate times on repeat until I answer, my health and ability to still run a marathon, Lorna the local cafe near my house that serves a wonderful chai, the trees I see from my house, my ability to problem solve and think through difficulties, weekends away that have broken up the year. This is my starting list and I will go on from here, breaking things down further. And don’t forget to celebrate! Whether it’s a gathering with friends, enjoying a solo hike, or simply taking a quiet moment, reflect on the year and give yourself credit. You truly deserve it! Want to dive deeper into this process? Click the link below for more insights and resources! 👉 https://lnkd.in/gVnsia9F Let’s embrace gratitude as we close out the year together! What are you thankful for this holiday season? #Three6Way #MakeItStick #Gratitude #YearEndReflection #CelebrateSuccess #Mindfulness

#MondayMotivation Hi friend. Happy new week. I had a couple of events over this last weekend but a particular one re-enforced to me one of my life’s core pillars - mindfulness in the pursuit of my goals (i.e. intentional awareness of the present moment with acceptance of all that it’s got to offer, without judging myself). So, I got to this event centre that has her car park and even the road in front of it full of parked cars already, and as a result, I started feeling anxious about the very slim chance of getting a space to park such that I felt like driving like a tout to chance other drivers for whatever limited space that is left (just like other drivers were doing). *I however immediately paused to remind myself of accepting whatever the present throws at me with gratitude, knowing well that this state of being in the present flow is what compels life to work for us, and not against us.* So, I drove calmly - I even allowed 2 rough-driving cars go ahead of me in accessing the car park, but to my shock, it was until I got to a particular spot where a car was initially parked that the driver moved out to create space for me, while the two cars that wrongly got ahead of me already moved beyond that free spot. If I had forced control over accessing the car park ahead of those two rough-driving cars, I would have missed that free spot (& perhaps also suffered some car dents). In life, anything you can’t seem to control is teaching you to let go - to embrace acceptance of yourself regardless of that thing. *Now, this may not be an interesting to do, but it sure leads to happiness, because the road to happiness often feels like trouble, and the road to trouble often feels like happiness.* By embracing where you are now and releasing the need to force results, regardless of how discomforting it is, you create space for genuine progress. *So, this new week, resolve to let go of control, trust the process, and know that each step forward, however small, is part of your journey to success.* You are unstoppable! Turns out, I lied… …to myself. Things have not slowed down. If anything, they’ve gotten even more chaotic. Classic, right? 😂 You know the drill—work deadlines, after-school chaos, family gatherings, holiday prep, 2025 planning... plus the errands, chores, and texts all on my “I’ll get to it tomorrow” list. (Spoiler: I won’t. 😅) Some days, I’m basically Beyoncé at work (okay, maybe Beyoncé’s backup dancer if they also forgot their kid’s water bottle). Other days, I’m crushing it as a parent (in my own mind, at least), but my inbox is plotting its revenge. And self-care? Well, I did get my first haircut in six months, so clearly, I’m thriving. 🫠 But here’s the mantra I’m clinging to this season: gratitude OVER guilt. Not the curated, Instagram-worthy kind. I’m talking about the real, unfiltered moments of appreciating this messy, beautiful life. ✨ I’m thankful for my family—my “why”—even when the chaos feels like a sitcom gone wrong. ✨ I’m thankful for work that pushes me and drives me to grow. ✨ I’m thankful for friends, coworkers, and strangers who remind me none of us are doing this alone. And most of all, I’m thankful for learning to let things slide. Perfection isn’t the goal— showing up is. To all my fellow jugglers out there: take a breath, cut yourself some slack, and remember—you’re doing amazing, exactly as you are. 💛 Wishing you moments of peace, joy, and maybe even an uninterrupted nap this holiday season. 🧡 What’s on your gratitude list this year? #ThankfulAndTired #Gratitude #WorkingParents #WeGotThis #Thanksgiving2024 #WorkLifeBalance #ParentLife #MomLife #DadLife #HustleAndHeart #RealTalk #OverwhelmedButGrateful #SelfCareStruggles #HolidayChaos #WorkingMomLife #CareerAndFamily #JugglingLife #GratefulHeart #MindfulParenting
