Why you may not be hearing back after applying for the jobs? Recently, someone reached out to me for advice on his career path, and one point we discussed really stood out. He applied to numerous jobs in Saudi Arabia but either received rejection emails or no response at all. Here’s what I shared with him, and I believe this might help others too: In a competitive job market like Saudi Arabia, each open position attracts thousands of resumes. The reality is that most of these resumes don’t even reach the recruiter. They get filtered out by ATS (Applicant Tracking Systems) before they ever make it to a human. So how can you increase your chances? 1. Create an ATS-Friendly Resume: - Use simple formatting (avoid fancy templates). - Include keywords from the job description. - Focus on your most relevant projects and achievements. 2. Tailor Your Resume for Each Job: - Highlight experiences that directly align with the role. 3. Be Strategic: - Apply only for roles where your skills and experience match closely. - Leverage LinkedIn to network with hiring managers and recruiters. Remember, the goal is to stand out, but in a way that aligns with what the system and recruiters are looking for. If you’ve successfully cracked the job search code in a competitive market, share your tips in the comments to help others. Let’s learn together! 𝑾𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒂𝒓𝒆 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒕𝒂𝒍𝒌𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒂𝒃𝒐𝒖𝒕❓ 𝑰𝒕 𝒉𝒂𝒔 𝒃𝒆𝒆𝒏 𝒐𝒏𝒍𝒚 𝟐 𝒘𝒆𝒆𝒌𝒔❗ Yes, 2 weeks have passed since I started working as a #recruiter and believe me when I tell you that 2 weeks can add a lot to a person whatever field he's working in (Considering that he's in the right place to learn and develop)💁 So here I am, noticing some important things while going through the process of sourcing and screening CVs which I find so simple but really make a huge difference: ➡️ If you're a marketing manager, why are you wasting your time and applying for a totally different managerial position (ex. Training supervisor)? It's ok if you want to shift careers but this case is different so please check the minimum requirements before applying (I'm only talking about the minimum) ➡️ If you want to ease the process of finding a job, don't underestimate the power of #linkedin, it can do wonders to your career (It also leaves a very good impression on the recruiter when he finds it updated and active) ➡️ What is the problem with using a design for my CV? No problem at all, but overusing colors and designs may lead to lack of professionalism so pay attention to the fine line between designing and destorting your CV using templates and designs. ➡️ We hire for Saudi Arabian companies and I'm telling you that we always look at the English CVs first, so take some time to translate it because even if you were interviewed, you'll be asked to translate it at the end before sending your profile to the client. ➡️ selfies and posing? BIG NOO ❌ If used, only use professional photos in your CV with a white background So to my recruiter friends, do you have any extra tips to add?👀 #recruitment #hr #recruiter #tips

🌟 Searching for Top Talent Without a Recruiter Account? Here's How! 🌟 Are you looking to find the perfect candidate for your team but don't have a recruiter account on LinkedIn? No problem! You can use Google to search for LinkedIn profiles with this simple trick. Use the following search string on Google to find professionals in your desired city with relevant certifications who have studied at top universities in Saudi Arabia: For example, if I'm looking for a recruiter in Riyadh that has a CIPD with a bachelor’s from King Saud University or Princess Nourah Bint Abdulrahman University, I would use: site:sa.linkedin.com/in "recruiter" AND "riyadh" AND "CIPD" AND ("King Saud University" OR "Princess Nourah Bint Abdulrahman University") How This Boolean Search Works: 1. site:sa.linkedin.com/in: Limits the search to LinkedIn profiles in Saudi Arabia. 2. "recruiter": Searches for profiles with the specified job title. 3. AND "riyadh": Ensures the profile is located in the specified city. 4. AND "CIPD": Looks for profiles that mention relevant certifications. 5. AND ("King Saud University" OR "Princess Nourah Bint Abdulrahman University"): Includes profiles that mention either of the specified universities, ensuring educational background is highlighted. Simply copy and paste this string into the Google search bar and you'll be able to browse through profiles that match your criteria. Tips for Effective Searches: 1. Specify the Location: Use keywords like "City Name" to focus your search on a particular region. 2. Include Relevant Roles: Add job titles and roles to narrow down your search to specific expertise. 3. Highlight Certifications: Mention certifications to ensure candidates have the necessary qualifications. 4. Target Top Universities: Use the names of top universities to find highly educated professionals. Happy recruiting! 🚀 #Recruitment #TalentAcquisition #HiringTips #GoogleSearch #LinkedInHacks #ProjectManagement #Certificates #TopTalent #HR

Dear LinkedIn Job Seekers, I am receiving daily a large number of messages from professionals of different domains to help them for getting job in KSA or in my organisation. Believe me if it in my hands i can Accomodate all of you, but please try to understand its not that much easy. First of all along with professional responsibilities and having family life as well, its not possible to check hundreds of messages and to respond them all of time. But I will try my level best to reply atleast 3 messages in my inbox per day to guide them or to share my views about their current situation if it could be helpful for them. But here are general tips which you can follow to secure your job in KSA. 1. Work on your skills , if you are skilled and have some information about market, believe me without any reference you have great chances of getting hired by some company. No company or manager will take the risk of its project/business on a person who is not skilled. Reference is a secondary thing , first and foremost important thing is your skill & relevant experience. Believe me We rejected many people during interviews who came to me with a strong reference as they don't have required skills, but we selected many people who were skilled and they came to us without any reference. Only their experience, skill, self confidence and beilve on Allah was their sole weapon on which they were depending upon... 2. There is a sort of proverb that First 5 years in the market you are there to learn not to earn. So If you are given a chance to work on good project which will polish your skills and will add reasoable experience in your CV. Grab this opportunity even if its low paid. As in long term it will pay back you. 3. No compnay is hiring engineers or professionals untill there is a strong need for the project or business. A compnay always try to manage the business/project with current internal available resources first . But if this is not manageable then only they creat a vacancy to be filled. So , just forwarding your CVs to different professionals in the organizations is not always a good idea rather keep an eye on talent acquisition team/ HR of that compny to see if any current openings are there. If openings are there then definitely you can use your links as well to be on interview table. But on interview table , you have to prove yourself. 4. Those who are applying from their home countries if they are exceptional candidates then compnies take them else in most of cases the professionals who are locally available they are preferred. So if you are locally available in KSA, you chances of getting a job are increased. 5. Make your networking strong by adding professionals of a particular organisation which you are targeting..By adding people, you will recieve off and on updates about the ongong scenario in that organisation and possible vacancies. In today’s digital era, finding the right job in the Middle East has become more accessible thanks to a variety of specialized job sites. Whether you're a local or an expatriate, understanding which platforms can best connect you to potential employment opportunities is crucial. Here’s a quick guide to help you navigate the job search landscape: 1. Leverage Local Job Portals: Websites like Bayt and GulfTalent are tailored specifically to the job market in Saudi Arabia and the Gulf region. These platforms understand local hiring practices and can offer positions that aren't listed on international sites. 2. Utilize Global Job Search Engines: Don’t overlook global giants like LinkedIn and Indeed. These sites often list opportunities in Saudi Arabia and also provide valuable networking opportunities and insights into company cultures. 3. Industry-Specific Sites: If you're looking for specialized roles, consider industry-specific portals. For instance, if you're in healthcare, engineering, or IT, sites dedicated to these fields may offer more targeted job listings. 4. Company Career Pages: Often, the best way to find out about job openings is directly through a company’s own career page. This approach can show your genuine interest in the company and may lead to quicker response times during the recruitment process. A successful job search strategy involves being proactive, persistent, and patient. Keep your CV updated, tailor your cover letter for each application, and continue to build and engage with your professional network. #JobSearch #CareerAdvice #SaudiJobs #ExpatriateJobs #Hiring #ProfessionalNetworking #CareerDevelopment
