It's International Day of Charity and as a small charity we are passionate about making a BIG impact... Last year... 💓 1,300 local children, young people and their parents/carers benefitted from 1:1 bereavement counselling and/or group activities 💓 153 professionals and parents/carers benefitted from bereavement and loss training to better support 100's of locally bereaved families 💓 177 of telephone advice and guidance was provided 💓 100% of children and their families that accessed support felt they had benefitted We received only 3% of our income from statutory sources (this is not definite for future years and is only for our Bassetlaw service). The other 97% relies on donations from the community, corporates, and Trusts. Our events and challenges are a crucial part of these donations, raising the funds we need to continue to operate and support local children and their families during one of the most devastating times in their lives. Held In Our Hearts baby loss counselling and support services are a lifeline for grieving families; providing a Hospital Home service, counselling, peer support, community support and resources to help families cope with their loss. However, these services rely heavily on charitable donations and diminishing grant funding, despite the growing need for them. By raising awareness and funds during Baby Loss Awareness Week, we can help ensure that these services remain free and are available to all who need them, for as long as they need them. It assists businesses, schools, and organizations in becoming prepared for disasters and other emergencies, helps meet OSHA requirements, and aligns with some Baldrige criteria (see 1.2c2 & 6.2c). I need to reach businesses & organizations about this free program to help improve preparedness throughout the U.S.  https://lnkd.in/gTDSYizK.
