With 1 in 4 pregnancies ending in loss and four babies stillborn each week in Scotland, the need for our services is profound. While we cannot prevent the death of a baby, with your support, we can ensure that no one must walk alone after such a heartbreaking loss 🌈 Compassionate bereavement support should be accessible to all, without financial or time constraint. Will you donate £4 and consider setting up a regular giving amount to ensure we can continue supporting families through baby loss, whenever they need us and for as long as they need us. Text FOUR to 70460 to donate £4. Nominate 4 by sharing this post and tagging 4 people #TogetherWeCare #Give4BLAW24 Texts will cost the donation amount plus one standard network rate message, and you’ll be opting into hearing more from us. If you would like to donate but don’t wish to hear more from us, please text FOURNOINFO instead. Held In Our Hearts baby loss counselling and support services are a lifeline for grieving families; providing a Hospital Home service, counselling, peer support, community support and resources to help families cope with their loss. However, these services rely heavily on charitable donations and diminishing grant funding, despite the growing need for them. By raising awareness and funds during Baby Loss Awareness Week, we can help ensure that these services remain free and are available to all who need them, for as long as they need them. By donating £4 and sharing this post you are standing with families during their most challenging times, ensuring they receive the care and compassion they deserve.

Right now – until 12pm Thursday 22 August – EthicalJobs.com.au is matching your donations to CSMC. That means there's just three days left to double your impact! When single mother families in crisis need support, they contact CSMC. Our support workers assist single mother families with expert support, advice, and information, when they need it the most. With the cost-of-living hitting even average families, the children in low income families are really missing out. Single mothers are doing all they can to protect their children, but the kids still feel the hunger and the cold – and the responsibility to try and hid expenses from their mum. CSMC provides expert specialist support, with the unique addition of having lived experience of being single mothers. They are trusted; they are experts; they are a safe place for single mothers to turn. Funds are urgently needed for emergency relief to assist single mothers to feed their children and maintain their housing. So please, if you are considering donating to a charity that supports families in need, now is the time to do it. https://lnkd.in/gYqi4RXu

2 civic responsibility opportunities I would like to bring to your attention: 1) I joined the movement to create positive change for moms and babies everywhere, especially those most at risk. With preterm birth and maternal death rates continuing to rise, I’m committed to raising funds so that every family gets the best possible start. But I need your help. Please visit my fundraising page to make a donation. Together we’ll be part of a movement to make America a more equitable place and ensure that every mom and baby is healthy. https://lnkd.in/gNx_pGje 2) I am also volunteering with the American Red Cross as a Ready Rating Program Advisor. The Ready Rating Program is a free service provided through a partnership between the American Red Cross and the Canadian Red Cross. It assists businesses, schools, and organizations in becoming prepared for disasters and other emergencies, helps meet OSHA requirements, and aligns with some Baldrige criteria (see 1.2c2 & 6.2c). I need to reach businesses & organizations about this free program to help improve preparedness throughout the U.S. https://lnkd.in/gTDSYizK.
