Celebrating funding feels great, but the real victory is in what comes next …. I still remember the first time we raised funding for a company. Much like scoring a goal in football. You celebrate, jump in the air like CR7. Then, you focus on scoring the next goal. Every new funding round feels like a thrilling football match. We don’t just look at it as success. It’s a chance to push our limits further. A constant chase to outdo our past. How do we do it? By staying relentless. We review our previous wins, and then ask: How can we create more impact this time? We learn, adapt, and move forward faster. For us, it’s not just about funding, but growth. Because each new round is a fresh start. The real celebration is when we exceed expectations. When our work makes a difference, that’s the goal.

There are some excellent reasons to give away some of your wealth to charity, either during your lifetime or as part of your legacy. The most obvious, of course, is that you want to do something good with the wealth you’ve accumulated or inherited. But there are also several ways that charitable giving can help to reduce your tax liabilities. So you could call it a win-win. If you are considering making a charitable donation, and want to know more about tax-efficient charitable giving, talk to your Talis IFA. The link to find an adviser is below:

When a flooded pitch turned into a crisis, AFC Wimbledon showed us the incredible power of community. A cancelled match, waterlogged grounds, and a daunting clean-up could have spelt disaster. Instead, it became a rallying cry for unity and action. Fans from across football came together, raising over £100,000 in just days to help the club recover. The result? A transformed pitch and an unforgettable 4-0 win in front of their home crowd just weeks later. This story is about overcoming adversity. It shows what is possible when people work together. As our sports and communities feel the impacts of climate change more than ever, this serves as a powerful reminder: collective action can drive meaningful change. Read the full blog post on our website to see how a local crisis turned into a national movement—and how small, intentional actions can ripple into something extraordinary. 💚⚽ 📖 Read: https://lnkd.in/e7m88HKy Let’s work together to #ProtectWhereWePlay

My son, Griffin, is playing for the state high school football championship today. I was talking to him this morning about just focusing on winning each play and not to get caught up in winning or losing the game. All you can focus on is the task at hand--which is the next play. The end result will take care of itself. Winning is all about mastering the basic fundamentals and repeating them play in and play out. Successful players focus on the little things and do the work that others won't do. Everyone wants the trophy. Few want do the work. When you think about your finances, you might consider the "championship" to be building a healthy nest egg to retire early, or building a net worth that allows you to give major donations to charities. I have a family member that always says, "When I win the lottery, I am going to...". Every time I hear it, it kills me. What is hear from that statement is I am not going to change to achieve a goal. I am just going to wait and see if I get lucky. Of course, we are all lucky. We live in the greatest country on the planet and where opportunities abound. We have all won the lottery already. So, rather than waiting for the outside world to change. Make the change for yourself. Choose your target. Commit to it. Then figure out what you need to do today to make one step toward that goal. Do the fundamentals. The blocking and tackling of finance is spend less than you earn, pay yourself first, rinse and repeat. You don't need the "Hail Mary" of high risk investments that promise massive returns. Just do the basics and the math will be on your side to win the game. My son and his football team have worked on those fundamentals every since they were kids. It has created a great opportunity to win the championship. Only two teams left in the state can say that. The nice thing about financial security is there is no limit to who can win that game. We can all hold that trophy up high if we just do the work. #moxiewealth
