Today, The Garzón School proudly celebrated UN International Literacy Day 2024, focusing on this year's theme: "Promoting Multilingual Education: Literacy for Mutual Understanding and Peace." This theme deeply resonates with our diverse community, where linguistic diversity and intercultural exchange are at the heart of our educational philosophy. To commemorate this important day, our students engaged in a series of enriching activities. They created a “Literacy Peace Poster” in art class, contributing words and artwork in their native languages to symbolize peace. We wrapped up the day with a Multilingual Readathon, where older students read stories to younger students in various languages!
