I'm happy to share my 2nd interview from the #GGC 🎮 This time with Bella Harutyunyan, Business Development Manager at Gyumri Technology Center by EIF 🚀 1️⃣ What are your personal and professional #impressions from the GGC as organizer? 💥 Bella: GGC was a big milestone in our strategy as EIF - Enterprise Incubator Foundation to position the city of Gyumri as the creative tech capital of 🇦🇲. I feel relieved, full of pride and excitement. We’ve made it, we’ve gathered together leading game dev companies, game enthusiasts, junior and senior game developers and designers, managers, youth. Seeing that the conference attracted over 20 experts in game development technologies and more than 400 participants shows the growing interest and potential of the gaming industry in Gyumri and 🇦🇲 as a whole. Professionally, I'm impressed by the collaborative efforts between the "Enterprise Incubator" Foundation and "Revolution Origins" along with the sponsors and partners of the event who supported the initiative from A to Z. GGC became more than an event, it created a platform for an international community to exchange professional skills, meet the next generation of game developers and artists and to discuss long term opportunities to boost the industry in 🇦🇲 and particularly in Gyumri. And this is just the start. I believe the true impact of this conference we will see later in the coming months. We are looking forward to seeing the outcomes and advancements in the local game development ecosystem as a result. 2️⃣ What does it take to boost the IT industry in the #RegionsofArmenia? ⚡ Bella: It takes lots of effort on multiple fronts. During almost ten years we invested in infrastructure and tried to facilitate the growth of IT businesses outside the capital city. Additionally, organizing and implementing educational programs and training focused on both digital and soft skills development cultivates a skilled workforce in regional areas, ready for the international market, which in return brings multinational companies to establish branches outside of Yerevan. We also create and develop a supportive ecosystem that includes incubators, accelerators, and networking opportunities that encourage entrepreneurship and innovation. Collaborative efforts involving the government, private sector, academic institutions, and civil society are very effective for creating policies and initiatives that address the specific challenges and opportunities faced by regional IT ecosystems. Besides that, we collaboratively work on the creation of a multidisciplinary ecosystem, where professionals from various industries collaborate, exchange knowledge and generate new, innovative ideas through our newly established #BlackBox laboratory. We think that the future is in multidisciplinary collaboration, and the game development industry is the place to bring together artists, scientists, developers and engineers. ------- Question 3 in the comments 👇👇

What a week! 🚀 I've just wrapped up four incredibly diverse events, and I'm buzzing with excitement (and a bit of exhaustion 😅). From exploring the rich history of our new office location during the WISTA Academy Welcome Tour 🏙️ in Berlin-Adlershof, to diving into tech talks at the CTO-Launch by SquareOne Venture Capital & Amazon Web Services (AWS) 💻, learning about Personal Branding at the WISTA Academy 🎓, and finally unwinding at the SIBB - Digitalverband Berlin-Brandenburg Summer Party by the beautiful Wannsee 🌅 - it's been a whirlwind of experiences! The best part? Meeting passionate professionals from all walks of life. Whether it was: • Learning about Adlershof's evolution and visiting local companies (shoutout to our awesome tour guide, Frank Lauterbach! 🙌) • Geeking out over software solutions and enjoying mouthwatering food at Night Kitchen 🍽️ • Engaging in an open chat about improving hiring processes with the presenters from Bundesagentur für Arbeit • Or networking with innovators from startups to law firms at the Wannsee One thing stood out: the shared enthusiasm everyone has for their work.
