At the start, it was just me, juggling a ton of tasks. - 3 years later, with a team of seven, we were still stretched thin, each of us wearing multiple hats. - 5 years down the line, despite growing to 25 members and bringing in specialists, we still felt like we needed more hands. - 7 years with a team of 40, that feeling persisted. - Throughout, the constant struggle was feeling understaffed, always searching for someone to add that special spark⚡️ - Infact when i tried to hire aggressively , expecting rapid growth it was only counter productive. -Looking back, 𝗜'𝘃𝗲 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲𝘀, 𝘀𝗹𝗼𝘄 𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘄𝘁𝗵 𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗵 ,I believe in the law of diminishing returns , so less is more. - Being understaffed forces us to get creative, to focus on what truly matters and let go of the rest. - Not only that, this will push you to be on a constant look out for the next best hire.
