We are pleased to announce that we have signed an agreement with the University of Marseille (Aix-Marseille Université) for the acceptance of a master's level student into our office's internship program. In agreement with the French University, our law firm will serve as the Host Organization for the completion of the professional internship in accordance with the educational plan set by the academic institution. Founded in 1409, Aix-Marseille Université is a renowned university in France, and this collaboration represents an excellent opportunity to share our professional experiences and contribute to the development of practical skills for international students. This internship program will enable the student to gain valuable insights into Kosovo's legal system, engage in concrete projects, and develop her professional competencies in a dynamic and challenging environment. As part of this collaboration, we have agreed to accept a student of Kosovar origin who is expected to begin the internship in February of next year. 🌟 Excited to share that I've completed a valuable virtual internship with Norton Rose Fulbright 🌟 Recently finished a one-day virtual internship where I gained insights into joint ventures, enhancing my understanding of key corporate structures and practical skills for my CV. Key Learnings: - Explored how joint ventures maximize competitive reach and critical negotiation steps. - Reviewed NDAs, emphasizing their importance before negotiations. - Drafted changes to exclusivity clauses to ensure early agreement on key terms. - Understood minority protection provisions in joint ventures. - Delved into due diligence, including human rights and intellectual property considerations. Tasks Included: - Reviewed and negotiated joint venture steps. - Drafted and revised NDAs and exclusivity clauses. - Analyzed minority protection provisions and conducted due diligence.
