Having a pet is a big responsibility! Somethings to note : If you are thinking of having a dog and you have a house please consider getting a fence around the house to keep the dogs safe when it is time to play outside In my opinion , dogs shouldn’t live outside full time . (ESPECIALLY , during the cold & summer months ) Some dogs do not have Under coats and can freeze to death ! Please make sure your dog always has access to FRESH water . Be mindful that some water may have bacteria that can harm or make your dog sick Feeding your dogs table food , especially with seasonings is not good for your dog . Learn what items from your kitchen that is pet friendly if you would like for your pup to join in during meal time . But absolutely NO SEASONINGS ! Dogs need enrichments and things to keep them busy just like humans . So if you have a dog in the crate while you are at work please don’t be mad when you get home and let them out the crate that they are excited to have some company and time to stretch their body from being in the crate . Consider getting your dog trained so you don’t have to have your pup in the crate ; if you need help finding low cost pet training in NC please let me know I will help you find one . Have patience with your pet and take time to learn your pet ; animals are smart and just like us May learn differently than another animals . We all have different learning styles but that doesn’t make us unworthy. Don’t forget to give as much TLC as you can !
