How do you know when to say no? (asking for a friend...😳) Every day in our inbox, on WhatsApp, on LinkedIn there are stories of people who need help. For me I am inspired by great personal challenges like LinziWalks, to inspiring summits like the 'Its Not Your Fault' summit, organised by Harald Walter Azmann to new campaigns in support of young children, like Fatima Whitbread's worthy cause. Not including of course the amazing initiatives by our members and partners at Collaboration Global such as B1G1 and Organisation for Responsible Businesses, The GC Index, The Love Foundation and more. Add in the inspiring mission of many of our members at Collaboration Global and my ability to help gets diluted by trying to help all of the people all of the time. Where do you draw the line? Keeping your priorities aligned with your values is a great place to start, but 'my friend' has to keep her need to help, in proportion to the hours in the day she has at her disposal. Not an easy task. I know this is a common problem, when you have certain skills you can see immediately where you can help. Especially when there is no financial reward to help you justify it.
