The surprising way neurodiverse brains can level up your business Recently, I was asked by a client to present to the leadership team on how to best support ADHD team members. It was a great conversation. ADHD team members can be your most brilliant and innovative problem solvers. ADHD brains are wired to constantly learn and create connections and possibilities. I walked them through the key differences between ADHD and neurotypical brains, especially the lower levels of dopamine and norepinephrine. How this results in lower reserves of executive function compared more neurotypical brains. And how that expresses itself in things like time blindness, task initiation and prioritization challenges, rejection sensitivity and other facets of ADHD life But the biggest takeaway for this leadership team was that working with ADHD brains can actually help you level up your business. Because what helps ADHD team members prioritize, focus and execute is getting really good at operating like the best companies do. In this week's 12-minute Rocket Ship Founder podcast episode I talk about how working with neurodiverse brains can help your business level up. I'll cover: 1️⃣ Why the challenges of ADHD actually can help you operate better 2️⃣ 3 specific areas to focus on that will drive better results 3️⃣ Essential tips on working with neruodiverse team members #founder #entrepreneurship #adhd #neurodiversity #solopreneur

Founder ADHD Entrepreneur Accelerator for B2B Business Founders | Helping ADHD Entrepreneurs sustainably 2X productivity in 30 days | Took my first startup from idea to exit | Rocket Ship Founder Podcast Host 🎙️
3 Techniques for ADHD Founders (that work for everyone) Over the past two weeks, I’ve had a number of conversations with Founders navigating their entrepreneurial journey while dealing with ADHD. Like myself these Founders got a later diagnosis and are now putting together some puzzle pieces. So for this episode of the Rocket Ship Founder Podcast, I wanted to share 3 techniques for ADHD Founders - that are actually helpful everyone. Three of the biggest challenges for challenges for ADHD brains are: Time blindness Executive function deficit Emotional dis-regulation. Time blindness expresses itself in a couple of ways. First, it’s the inability to track how much time you are spending on any given task. What feels like forever may in fact be a few minutes. And visa versa. Second, it’s the inability to properly estimate how many minutes or hours something will take. This can be especially problematic for Visionary founders, because visionaries can see how the end product should look, but mentally skip over seeing all the effort and time the in between takes. We inadvertently give ourselves impossible internal deadlines - a straight ticket to overwhelm. Executive function is our ability to prioritize and plan and make decisions - and ADHD brains have a smaller well of executive functioning energy. Executive function will generally start out stronger in the early part of the day and the early parts of the week. Executive function degrades as we deploy for decisions and prioritization. This starts a cycle of all tasks becoming less efficient and at the same the ability to organize and prioritize continues to degrade, making the everything more inefficient. ADHD brains can, especially when worn down lose their emotional governors. This is called emotional dis-regulation. When ADHD brains are drained and out of capacity, but then gets an input, it can basically just throw a fit: “that’s it! I can’t take another input, another decision, another issue to deal with. I’ve used up all my executive function and you are asking me to do more so f-you.” In this week’s Rocket Ship Founder Podcast, I talk about, I offer some strategies to cope and support yourself: 1. The 1st critical step 2. Why taking care of your foundations is critical 3. How to avoid creating impossible deadlines and staying out of overwhelm This 11-minute episode offers value for all kinds of Founder brains. #founders #founder #adhd #entrepreneurship

Hi everyone! As a venture capitalist who has taken the plunge into launching my own startup, I wanted to share some reflections from the past six months of working on AutiHD, our platform designed to support people on the autism spectrum and with ADHD. ✅ VC Experience is a Game-Changer: Having a VC background is incredibly helpful. You learn to quickly spot and discard bad ideas, which saves a ton of time. Even though I'm a first-time founder, it doesn't feel that way because I've seen so much before. This helps in creating a solid roadmap and moving faster than I would have otherwise. ✅ Creating vs. Critiquing: Criticizing decks and pitches is so much easier than creating them. Building and presenting your own ideas is a whole different ball game. It's challenging but also incredibly rewarding. ✅ Staying Focused: It's tough to maintain focus when you want to do everything at once. That's why feedback from others is so important, even if you think you know it all. Pitching your idea to others, even when you're not looking for money, can provide invaluable insights and keep you grounded. ✅ Depth vs. Breadth: In a VC role, you see dozens of projects daily, giving you broad exposure but not much depth. You get used to scanning quickly and thinking you understand everything after a brief conversation. But with your own project, you have to dive deep into details, market research, and understanding your customers on a much deeper level. Launching a startup has been a humbling and eye-opening experience. The journey from VC to founder is tough but incredibly fulfilling. I'm excited to keep growing and learning with AutiHD. Thanks for reading, and if you have any thoughts or advice, I'd love to hear them! #startup #entrepreneurship #venturecapital #autism #ADHD #AutiHD

Imagine carrying out that your #deeptechstartup 'has the science used by UFOs' and where many in corporate and LinkedIn meet/greet such a statement. "How can we believe or trust someone making such an outlandish claim, Reso? How come you have it and no one else?" Because I haven't gotten paid a working salary or earned a paycheck from pressing CTP forward for over two years now. Because the CTP Model adds two additional Fundamental Forces and an entire new field of science, Kaku's 'missing pieces' behind physical law', and because most of all... Because it is the truth. Because CTPSci Sciences can lead humankind to the stars. I am saying and stating the same things I was stating two years ago. (even 20 years ago during Drazen's original CTP Phase 1) (in spite of the 100s of 100s of statements from people claiming or stating they would assist our #startup in any way that ultimately never have done anything) (some days I would like to completely drop CTP, yet...) I AM STILL HERE. #founder #founders #founderstory #founderstories #techfounder #heiroftesla
Why are so many founders considering quitting their startups at the moment — and what can be done about it? I joined Alex Raymond on the Conscious Entrepreneur podcast to discuss the findings of a Sifted survey on founder mental health, published earlier this year. It found that: • 49% were considering quitting their startups this year • 45% thought their mental health was ‘bad’ or ‘very bad’ at the moment • 53% said they’d experienced burnout in the past year, and 55% said they'd had insomnia What are the solutions? Listen here — and thanks Alex for having me on the show! https://lnkd.in/en5eR6Uj #mentalhealth #founders #wellbeing #startups
