I recently attended a thought-provoking the roadshow centered around Women in Innovation, at #USA #washingtonDC & #New York city’s with a strong emphasis on Entrepreneurial Leadership and engaging site visits. What an event I must say, a journey full of learning and self-discovery and knowing great woman leaders in KSA, UAE, and Bahrain, The event provided a platform for inspiring discussions, enriching site visits, and valuable networking opportunities. The Journey: Throughout the roadshow , I had the privilege of attending sessions led by esteemed speakers who shared insights on various aspects of Entrepreneurial Leadership. The discussions on topics such as risk-taking, innovation, and strategic decision-making resonated deeply with me, offering fresh perspectives on navigating challenges in the entrepreneurial landscape. The Site Visit: The site visits were equally enlightening, allowing us to witness firsthand how innovative ideas are transformed into reality. The following were visited: Halcyon Georgetown Venture Partners (GVP) #US Small Business Administration – Stonepoint Capital ABANA (abana.co) The Net Working: Networking during the event was a highlight for me, as I had the chance to engage with like-minded individuals and experts in the field. These interactions broadened my professional network and provided valuable connections for potential collaborations and mentorships. The Conclusion: This event has impacted me, igniting a renewed sense of purpose and motivation in my entrepreneurial journey. I am excited to apply the knowledge and insights gained to drive innovation and leadership in my own endeavors, and I am grateful for the opportunity to have participated in such a transformative event. The learnings, connections, and experiences gathered during these have truly enriched my perspective and equipped me with the tools to thrive in the dynamic world of innovation and entrepreneurship. Today, I see women leading, managing, and standing as strong organisational pillars while balancing countless responsibilities. I’m constantly in awe of those who manage everything, including family commitments. I was going through one of the interesting articles and here are some facts about 𝐖𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧 𝐢𝐧 𝐁𝐮𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬 that I couldn't resist sharing: ➤ UAE had the highest number of women on Forbes' 100 Most Powerful Arab Businesswomen' last year. ➤ 25,000 Emirati businesswomen run projects worth over AED60 billion and occupy 15% of the positions on the boards of chambers of commerce and industry nationwide. ➤ Women hold 30% of leadership roles in public sector jobs, 42.5% in Diplomacy and 10% as Business owners in the Private sector.
