Hello, welcome to the cafe. My name is Sitesh. Please come in ma'am. So I'm here to manage to communicate with the guests and little bit of maintenance. Hi, I'm Deepika. I work at the Owl House and I work at the cafe as a consultant. All of our staff here like most of our staff in the kitchen as well as outside are our students who are neurodiverse. Lot of the menu items that you see, the students are familiar with. Ingredient, the quantity and the recipe of each thing that's prepared here because I'm visually impaired so it's a problem. It's a little bit challenging but to make me easy and my teachers have given me the this menu and this is the one you have to just stick mark on what on the product. Then we bring your menu according to your name and we give it back to you and you can add on and then we just take again to the kitchen the order will be right back. Yeah. So for cafe especially, we started out with mock trials where the students would just come out and they would be taught where things would be placed and the students that you see now are able to do all of these things independently. I think the main goal of the our housing general, one of the main goals is to is to create skills in individuals so that they can eventually go out and you know, maybe get jobs and things like that. So yeah, the owl cafes actually one big step in that direction.
