You Don’t Have to Be a Perfect Mom, Just a Happy One Being a mom—whether to kids, pets, or both—comes with its ups and downs. Some days, everything runs smoothly, and other days… well, you’re just doing your best to keep it all together. But here’s the truth: You don’t have to be a perfect mom. You just have to be a happy mom. Happiness doesn’t come from getting everything right, it comes from the little moments—like watching my bulldog snoozing next to our budgie by the fire. Those simple, peaceful moments remind me that it’s not about being flawless, it’s about being present. Whether the house is spotless or there’s chaos in every corner, as long as you and your loved ones are finding joy in the everyday, that’s what truly matters. 💛 So, let go of the idea of perfection. It’s okay to have messy days. It’s okay to laugh at the things that don’t go according to plan. The most important thing is that you’re happy—and that happiness spreads to everyone around you, two-legged or four.

Saturday’s are always a packed day in our household with three kids moving in three different directions 🤦🏽♀️, but as I sit outdoors enjoying a wonderful masala chai latte at a coffee house that I happened upon in Downtown Whitby (near where my daughters are training), this came to me. ✨In today's fast-paced world, it can be easy to get caught up in the hustle and bustle of everyday life. We often find ourselves rushing from one task to the next, constantly thinking about what needs to be done next. But in the midst of this chaos, it's important to remember the importance of pausing and taking in the little moments🙏🏾 ✨Savouring the moments allows us to stop and appreciate the beauty 🌺 and joy that surrounds us.
