For anyone going through significant change and leading others through change—whether it’s personal or professional—here’s what I’ve learned that might help you: 🧱 Build and nurture your network: You can’t do it alone. The connections you make, especially when starting in a new place or career, are invaluable. Make that network really diverse to cater to all versions of the support you need, be that practical, spiritual, emotional, or just those fun people you don’t have to be intense with. 💫 Give yourself grace: Change is hard. Don’t be too hard on yourself when things feel overwhelming. It’s okay to step back and take time to heal when you need it, and if you don’t heal you will likely not be having the best impact you can in your organisation. 🧘♀️ Stay connected to your purpose: Whether it’s through spirituality, community, or simply knowing what drives you, staying connected to something bigger than yourself can keep you grounded and lift you higher too. 🌪️ Embrace the chaos: Life, especially during periods of transition, can feel chaotic and uncertain. Learn to sit with that discomfort—it’s where the growth happens, don’t try to rush yourself out the other side. Know you are building an immense set of skills of being able to navigate ambiguity which will hold you in strength in your organisational life too. 📚️ Embrace the discomfort of sharing your story when you feel ready, because it can be a lifeline for others on their journey: By opening up and sharing your personal experiences, not just the professional ones, you create space for others to connect, learn, and grow. Life has a way of delivering the development we most need—even if it doesn’t come with a prestigious business school brand. The lessons may be tough, but they transform us in ways no formal education can. #Purpose #Values #Leadership #Singapore

Know Your worth; Make It Known It's not pride, as some might insinuate, because I came to learn there's no dignity in poverty or being humbled. In a world that constantly tries to measure our value with metrics and comparisons, it's essential to remind ourselves of our unique strengths and contributions. Understanding and articulating our worth isn't just about self-confidence—it's about shaping how we engage with the world and ensuring we are valued and respected. Here are a few ways to embrace and communicate your worth: -Self-Reflection: Regularly assess your skills, achievements, and growth areas. Knowing your strengths is the first step in advocating for yourself. -Speak Up: Whether it's a meeting, a networking event, or a negotiation, use your voice. Articulate your ideas, stand firm on your values, and set clear boundaries. Your perspectives are invaluable. -Seek Feedback and Act: Constructive feedback is a goldmine. It helps you align your self-perception with how others see you, highlighting your unseen strengths and areas for improvement. -Celebrate Success: Don't shy away from celebrating your achievements. Share your milestones; it boosts your confidence and sets a benchmark for your peers. -Choose Your Circle Wisely: Surround yourself with people who recognize and uplift your value. A supportive network can amplify your strengths far more than you could alone. Let's strive to understand our worth and ensure it is acknowledged. Remember, your value does not decrease based on someone's inability to see it. Embrace your unique contributions—professionally and personally—and let the world see your true worth! #ProfessionalGrowth #SelfWorth #CareerDevelopment #PersonalDevelopment #Leadership

Have you ever wondered why the word yes can sometimes be more powerful than a thousand words? Saying yes isn't just about agreement. It's a mindset. It's an invitation to opportunity, growth, and positive change. Here's why embracing this simple word could transform your career and life: 🌟 **Opportunities Knock:** Every yes opens a door. It might be a door to a project you've never tried or to a skill you haven't mastered yet. 💡 **Growth Through Challenges:** Saying yes to things outside your comfort zone pushes you to grow. Remember, comfort doesn't lead to growth—challenge does. 🤝 **Building New Connections:** Each yes can lead to unexpected alliances and relationships. Networking isn't about exchanging business cards; it's about creating meaningful connections. 🚀 **Innovation and Creativity:** Yes fosters a space of creativity. When you're open to new possibilities, you allow innovation to flourish. New ideas stem from the ability to say yes, let's try. But remember, yes isn't about agreeing to everything. It's about discerning and saying yes to the opportunities that align with your values and goals. Balance is essential—learn to say no when needed to maintain focus and energy. A few tips on mastering the art of yes : 1. **Evaluate the Opportunity:** Does it align with your goals? Will it help you grow? 2. **Consider the Cost:** Time, energy, resources—will you be able to commit? 3. **Trust Your Instincts:** Your gut feeling can often be your best guide. Listen to it. Embrace yes as more than a word. Use it as a tool for unlocking potential, both personally and professionally. So, what will you say yes to today? #growth #opportunity #personaldevelopment #leadership #innovation #yesmindset

If I want to sustain long-term growth, I have to stop relying on motivation. Have you ever paid for an online course? I have, and I often find it hard to finish them. I'm sure I'm not alone in this; sometimes, we act on a burst of motivation. Motivation is good for one-time changes, but long-term growth requires something more. 🏆 Know your WHY: Make clear and concise outcomes you want to achieve. Why do you want to get a promotion? If you've decided to seek a promotion, what behavior is expected from you? How does this promotion make you feel, and are you ready for it? 🏆 Power of behavior: For example, if I want to get the next promotion or need X amount of money by the end of the year, that's my future goal. To bridge that gap, I need to focus on actions now, such as reducing unnecessary expenses and building tiny habits. 🏆 Use triggers and rewards: Implement triggers to remind you of your habits and rewards to reinforce them. A trigger could be a specific time of day or an activity that cues the desired behavior. A reward reinforces the positive outcome of maintaining the habit, making it more likely to stick. 🏆 Build a support system: Surround yourself with individuals who support your growth. This could include mentors, peers, or a community. Don't forget to celebrate your small wins to stay on track! Roll up your sleeves and do it! All the best! Don't let your career become another regret. Are you ready to step up and lead? I can help you turn potential into power. DM 'GROWTH' and let's work on the solution. What I mean when I say self, others and actions = career goals Self = Taking ownership To build your career requires the inner work to be done in order to: # Cultivate a positive self concept # Embrace a growth mindset # Develope emotional inteligence # Define your values Others = we can't do it alone We need people in our life in order to grow, we need: # An inner circle: 3-5 most trusted people, that tell us the truth when it hurts. # Teachers: Mentors, coaches and leaders that stretch us # Network: People that align with our career aspirations and values. # Community: People that know us, love us and want to see us succeed. Actions = Career enhancing decisions The best ideas in the world mean very little until you take action. # Strategy: Make a plan to get you to where yo want to go. # decisions: Once you have a plan you have to make a decision, right or wrong starting is the only way to know. Side note: Personal branding is the bridge from self to others. Its our ability to communicate who we are, what we value, who we belong to and who we are best positioned to serve. #selfdevelopment #networking #action #personalbranding #growthmindset

I was reminded recently that we are the average of the five people we spend the most time with. Here's how to choose wisely:👇 This is a principle that renowned motivational speaker Jim Rohn is famous for developing and promoting. It highlights the significance of making conscious choices about your environment and relationships to foster personal growth and success. Here's What Jim taught 1. Self-Evaluation Look at who you spend time with: • Are they lifting you up or dragging you down? • Do they inspire you to be better? • Are they aligned with your goals and values? 2. Identifying Role Models and Positive Influences Find people who inspire you: • Seek mentors who have achieved what you aspire to. • Follow thought leaders who share valuable insights. • Join communities that foster growth and positivity. 3. Building and Nurturing Relationships Cultivate strong bonds: • Invest time in relationships that matter. • Offer value and support to your network. • Be open to feedback and willing to grow together. 4. Setting Boundaries Protect your energy: • Limit time with negative influences. • Say no to draining activities and people. • Prioritize your well-being and personal growth. 5. Continuous Reevaluation Keep assessing your circle: • Regularly reflect on your relationships. • Adjust your circle as you evolve. • Stay committed to surrounding yourself with high performers. Remember, your environment shapes your success. Choose wisely and elevate your life. Who are the people that inspire and elevate you? 👥 #solopreneurs #businessgrowth #PersonalBranding
