Recovery in Times Square! What a remarkable video! Let's place recovery front and centre in conversations to support people to find the help they need in behavioural healthcare treatment. I have been on the Advisory Board for Recovery.com (formerly RehabPath) for a few years, and have been consistently impressed at what founders Ben Camp and Jeremiah Calvino are achieving with the support of an amazing staff team. I'm not sure I thought I would ever see the day when recovery was on the big screen! Seeing the reaction of Cliff McDonald is wonderful! Normalising conversations about recovery make a difference to people getting help - whether it's in the US, or here in Australia. If you are ever trying to find the right treatment options for you or a loved one, please don't give up. Message me and I'll help you work through some options. It matters too much to stay stuck. #recovery #addictionawareness #mentalhealthawareness #businessleaders #highperformance #behaviouralhealth #timessquare #recoveryispossible
A few weeks ago I went to New York City for a business trip and had one of the biggest surprises of my life. I was there for an Advisory Board meeting with Trey Laird Ruth Limkin Ben Camp Jeremiah Calvino, Sarjoo P. and Jasleen Chhatwal, MBBS, MD, CPE, DFAPA. Ben and Jeremiah invited me to meet them in Times Square and here's what happened next. It's hard to find the words to convey my gratitude and excitement to be a part of this amazing team and this important mission. I don't think my personal recovery from alcoholism would have started if I didn't have access to resources that enabled me to get the level of care that I needed. It has been historically difficult to get the right level of treatment at the right time for people struggling with behavioral health disorders. We are having a material impact with changing that. My cup runneth over... https://lnkd.in/g3N7hH9H

Unfortunately, trauma-induced behavioral health issues seem increasingly more pervasive. Whether trauma's roots are in community events/crises or adverse childhood experiences, they can dramatically impact the health and productivity of individuals, businesses and communities. Thankfully, trauma-informed strategies to restore health and well-being are also more readily available. For example, business and community leaders may find these new resources from SAMHSA a good place to begin: https://lnkd.in/e3D6xV69

Tragic events, like the recent school shooting in Madison, Wisconsin, compel us to reflect deeply and seek solutions. In this video, I share critical insights as a clinical psychologist and psychoanalyst, focusing on recognizing behavioral warning signs in children, understanding the impact of unstable environments, and emphasizing the importance of early intervention. This discussion is essential for parents, educators, and mental health professionals seeking actionable steps to address concerning behaviors and support at-risk children and teens. Prevention is not only possible—it requires expertise, intentionality, and collaboration within our communities. ➡️ Watch the full video for more insights. 📧 Visit Pathformers.com for additional resources, or contact me directly at drklein@pathformers.com.
