As a young person entering the workforce how are you dealing with the age gap? The first journeyman I worked with asked if he could call me Al since he could remember it better (my full name is Aleksandr and I also go by Alex). Since that point I’ve always gone by Al at work. Some ideas besides changing your name are: 1. Watch some old movies 2. Listen to classic rock music 3. Start chewing tobacco (jk its bad for your health) 4. Grow a beard (if you can) 5. Only buy Carhart 6. Drink your coffee black 7. Swap that kombucha for a beer 8. Show up to work an hour early and lounge there reading the newspaper. Say you do it just in case you ever run into traffic that way you still aren’t late. 9. Don’t ask the old guy fumbling with a form on the computer if you can “just do it for him, you’ll be way faster”. 10. If you don’t have a task just start sweeping something. 11. Whip out a notebook when your JW is telling you stuff to do - make a list, then do it. 12. Drive an ugly beater to work. Don’t wash it. 13. Although you know stretch and flex is good for you, pretend like you hate it. (Still get your stretch in though - no excuses) 14. Try not to smile, or be happy in general, your co-workers are sitting there with pain from 40 years of physical trauma, have some respect. 15. You are struggling to set discipline at your company?! Here’s our way to solve the problem - The Wolf Corp . As the CEO, I have encountered so many cases at the company in terms of disciplined staff. There is an effect called “Broken window”. The meaning of this is “if someone sees a window broken, one might think that he/she can throw a trash around the broken window because before him someone has already done it. After then another person clearly decides to throw more trash because 2 people before him have done it. Many big problems and indiscipline come from this effect. As a founder or the CEO at the company, you have to try to avoid broken windows. I myself travel a lot in my career journey. So I might not be present at my office always. That is a big problem in terms of staying your staff disciplined in uniforms, in-time coming, manner with clients and so on. We established our dress code. This is must have for any employee at company. If everyone dresses the same, no one has right to break the “window” and no-one blaims the previous person. P.s.
