⚡📈Launched in August 2022, the California Energy Commission’s Demand Side Grid Support (DSGS) program has enrolled 515 MW of capacity across more than 265,000 participants. Did you know that vehicle-to-everything (#V2X) bidirectional charging systems can participate in the DSGS program and receive up to $100/kW-summer in capacity payments? This is the first program in the nation designed to compensate V2X for capacity and is open to residential customers, school bus fleets, or any other V2X application if the resource is not already enrolled in another demand-side management program. 🎊In 2023, VGIC proposed that the #battery VPP program be expanded to include bidirectional charging and is thrilled that the program is now live for V2X systems. 🔗To learn more about DSGS, read the Utility Dive article in the comments. #ElectricVehicles #ElectricVehicle #EVcharging
