The moment has come! I’ve got a call with LinkedIn tomorrow—what do we need to keep this platform valuable? More of what? Less of what? Your input matters—drop your thoughts below! My "Open Letter to LinkedIn" post from always two weeks ago, generated a lot of engagements. More people are concerned about how this beautiful platform is evolving. The good thing, LinkedIn reached out and Product Development and Executive User Experience team want to share thoughts in a call. Points I addressed in my post and will be addressing in my call: 1. Feed Flooded with Nonsense (Copy-Paste Content) 2. Automated Comments Killing Authenticity 3. Organic Reach is Tanking 4. Bullying & Toxic Behavior 5. Automated Spam Flooding Inboxes 6. Lack of Transparency and Accountability What is your main concern? What is that one change or feature that will make a huge difference? How do we maintain LinkedIn™'s huge potential for business? Don't get me wrong, have been a huge fan of LinkedIn™ since 2005. But it needs us, dedicated members, to speak up every now and then. I more than ever need your comments.
my general take is that linkedin took a leaf out of tiktok's book and became more of a content graph than a social graph. so we're all seeing the top 1% content. but because less people make content for LI than tiktok, the top 1% content is all "comment to get" lead magnets. it's become more difficult to succeed without using templates or lead magnets. not complaining just observing
🖇️First degree connections should always see my posts
Automation tooling. There should be a reporting feature
Can you just ask them to explain how it works? 🤣
Hi. I lately received some connection requests supposedly from headhunters (with profile, picture and impressive CV) which I believe were bots impersonating real persons. Or am I seeing AI ghosts? 😀

Stop hiding comments with links. And bring back organic reach.
At least they listen to someone. Good it is you.
Please include unwanted attention (towards both men and women). It's getting out of hand...

2w1. Bring back Pinned Comments, Stories, Profile Videos, and Audio Rooms 2. Do more to support small business owners and students. We should not be penalized for trying to sell our services with organic reach that tanks 3. When people click my bell for notifications, when they subscribe to my company page, when they subscribe to my newsletter, SEND things to EVERYONE vs. just a small sample. 4. Listen to the biggest and best LinkedIn lovers so that you can innovate and come up with new things that actually work vs. copying from other platforms only to remove them because they cost too much or you think that too low % of users want them 5. Enforce the rules we actually care about like trolling and creepy behaviour, but there are many others that folks noted below. 6. Finally, groups were a missed opportunity when Facebook did them better years ago and now most still use those. Now we have other external platforms like Slack, Heartbeat, Circle, Go High Level for community building. Find a way to fix, elevate or adapt groups. Geez... you really got me going Richard van der Blom... okay I will stop here haha. Lots they can do. 🤓🙌🏾
