Thiess Rehabilitation’s Post

Our Group Manager, Jonathan Miln, represented Thiess Rehabilitation at International Mining and Resources Conference (IMARC) 2024 this week. He shared valuable insights on mine rehabilitation during the Post-Mining Transformations & Future Use panel. The panel featured a diverse group of representatives from the mining industry, Traditional Owner groups, research, investment, and advisory sectors: Tom Measham (CRC TiME), Jon Crosbie MBA GAICD (MLRA), Helen Degeling (Cobalt Blue Holdings Ltd), Kia Dowell GAICD (Gelganyem Limited), Ngaire Tranter (Wattle Environment) and Silvia Black (Amira Global), Key themes included the importance of enhanced collaboration beyond the mining industry, and the need for improved consultation, innovative research, and implementation to achieve better outcomes in post-mining transitions. It was a privilege to engage with and learn from such great panellists. Thanks for having us, IMARC; see you next year. #IMARC2024 #minerehabilitation #postminingsolutions #ThiessRehabilitation
