Startups need to remove friction if they are going to win. Progress over perfection should be at the core of everything they do. Unfortunately I see WAAAAY too many young companies start to think like an enterprise and focus on "optimisation" All CEO's of startups that are winning know to focus on progress. They constantly ask themselves: "How do I make this easier, what would it look like?" Their ability early on to demonstrate that current macro economic trends are favourable in launching their product that could ride a demand wave, and eventually translate into enhanced differentiation and competitive advantage creating value often difficult to replicate.
